Earlier last month I went to the Emma Miller Memorial Dinner at Yeronga State High School. A truly amazing night for feminism womens rights and equality. Emma was instrumental in forming the Labor Party as a trade unionist and to get women the right to vote in Australia and the United Kingdom.

I was proud to join with @alifrancemp and @mark_bailey_mp hearing incredible speeches and Ali story of her disability losing her son and her pathway into politics was an inspiration. I also was lucky to win a prize at the Raffle despite only spending $5 on tickets. I got a nice mug with little coffee sachets from @reneecoffeymp. Just some pictures of my beautiful holiday at Hervey Bay got to join the festival where I saw fireworks had great food and got to paddle out to sea. Had a nice visit to Kgari and Kingfisher Bay Resort with a free meal. Got to go on a couple of cruises and see some whalewatching and dolphins which was exciting. Stayed at a new hostel called Herveys explored the town and made some new friends. Also got on the Tilt Train for only $25! I had a great time at the Labour Day March on Monday in Brisbane. Also got to meet some interesting people, including @stevenmilesmp @shannonfentimanmp @barbaraosheamp @karacookbonner @mayorjonraven and @alifrancemp. The food was great including the sausage sizzle and the rib fillet steak Burger and it was an amazing atmosphere. Happy 25th birthday to the wonderful Delina! 👏 I had a great time celebrating with her friends and family at Seoul Garden BBQ at Market Place Sunnybank. There was lots of food there, pasta, bacon, meat, noodles, fried rice, ice cream, m and ms marshmallows, and more. The best Christmas and New Year Parties ever! I had a great time along parliament house with Mark Bailey and Labor comrades at Parliament House with amazing views of the Brisbane River. Got to check out some awesome Christmas lights decorations. Alongside a workplace Christmas party with free food and drinks. I also celebrated 🍾 the new year 2026 in style with my Christian friends at Burbank. There was lots of great food pizza, garlic bread, a cool gingerbread house, apple crumble cake, and great music by the conseratium students at Griffith. I had an Amazing beach Day at Byron Bay with Griffith Uni students for only $20. Got to swim in the beach ⛱️ and battled the waves, had an amazing lunch burger, chips and a Half Strength Mocha and got up to the Iconic Byron Bay Lighthouse to admire the amazing views and buy a few gifts. Despite the cloudy unpredictable weather, I certainly made the most out of my day. The vibes were great everyone was so kind and easy going, would definitely love to come back and explore more of what makes this place so unique and inspiring. taken in Byron Bay, New South Wales by @harry_pass_567
