Fundamental BASICS... If you're not in shape, ask yourself why? Jim Rohn once said... β€œWork harder on yourself than you do on your job. If you work hard on your job, you can make a living, but if you work hard on yourself, you can make a fortune.” What do you consider to be a fortune? No more excuses. Time. Tired. Busy. Kids. Family. 9 TO 5. Excuses sound best to those who make them. For things to change, you've got to change. Start with the link in my bio. It will tell you where you're going wrong. by @harrychadwicktraining
Today, I sat down with one of the biggest legends I've had the pleasure of training πŸ”₯ From 144kg to 108kg, Kieran has lost 36kg. Which he says is "life changing" What a guy, massive congrats πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ₯³ by @harrychadwicktraining
How I went from a Super Noodles mess of 106kg TO 79kg IN JUST 18 months βœ‚οΈ 4 years ago, I was a complete mess and struggling with depression and a massive lack of confidence in my body. It was bad. The problem was I was trying everything. I wanted to achieve the dream body, but I just couldn't seem to get there, even if I was trying to eat properly and workout with intensity. I knew I needed to change something because I was starting to need a bra πŸ˜… Fast forward to today, I have an extra 5kg of muscle mass, and I am enjoying every day in the body I envisioned years ago! The best thing is that I was at rock bottom, and now I have all the knowledge to never let it happen again. What's the key lesson here? The key lesson is that if you need to make a change and you don't know where to turn, there is always a way. You need to focus on three things to change. 1. Mindset - you can't let right now define you. 2. Lifestyle - make these changes work for you. 3. Accountability (and I think this is the most important) So, if you're struggling with reducing body fat, increasing muscle mass, or simply achieving your dream physique, and you really want to achieve your full potential. DM me the word 'TRANSFORM', and I will get back to you and see if there's any way I can help. by @harrychadwicktraining
Can you see it? Watch the chest position One version of me has: β€’ Better control β€’ Better stretch β€’ Less chance of injury Some people will always disagree with training techniques. With this I think it is pretty obvious which version of me performs it better. Yet for many they can't perfrom it with the same control, why? You go to heavy, fall in love with using lighter weights to nail form before aggressively smashing weight on in your first 2 years of lifting. Some go to hard on sience and some go too hard one the "old school" methods. I like to meet it in the middle, progress with weight, while not over using other muscle groups to do so... to much. Anyone training properly knows that injuries are a huge set back, so let's avoid them! Control your reps, get the most out of the weight you use, and watch the comment section for all the accounts with less than 100 follows and no profile picture who always know best!! πŸ€£πŸ™ƒ Vote on the poll below πŸ‹πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ by @harrychadwicktraining
This is not an RDL 🀨🧐 This is my favourite hamstring builder πŸ† This exercise is called a Stiff Leg RDL One version of me has: β€’ Keeps tension on the Hamstrings β€’ Hinges pulling through the hamstrings rather than the lower back only β€’ Explores heavy weight without back injury β€’ Actually build Hamstrings up Some people will always disagree, thats fine. This is something that has worked for me and everyone who has asked how to build their posterior chain. I think it is pretty obvious which version of me performs it better. Yet for many they can't perfrom it with the same control, Tempo, Form, or discipline. Some go to heavy, some don't have the patience. My advice... Fall in love with using lighter weights to nail form before aggressively smashing weight on. Some go to hard on sience and some go too hard one the "old school" methods. I like to meet it in the middle, progress with weight, while not over using other muscle groups to do so (or as much as possible). Wait until you see the difference ⏳️ Pull ups. They are a tricky one to master and I am not saying I have! I'm sure it is obvious which side performs this better, but the question is usually the how behind the pull up. My biggest tip, focus on nailing the negative and WARM UP. Way to many will injure themselves going right into them. Which side performs it best? Vote on the poll by @harrychadwicktraining
Look at the knee bend πŸ‘€ Lets break it down... One version of me has: β€’ Better Tempo β€’ A srong core β€’ A good bar path β€’ Reduced chance of injury Some people will always disagree with training techniques. You see it? Although this could have been recorded better πŸ˜… One version of me: β€’ Has better chest tension β€’ Reduces the chance of injury β€’ Gets a full intended stretch β€’ Uses tempo to get the most out of the weight used Here is what you need to know... There are lots of ways to perform exercises these days, the Internet is full of different form videos. It's pretty obvious here, I think anyway, which version has better form. One is all over the place. The other is stable, grounded, and doing what needs to be done. Principles like tempo, full ROM, and positioning will instantly improve your form and, therefore, results with what you do in the gym. That said, I say all this with experience, and I'll still have some account with no profile picture and less than 100 followers tell me why they know more in the comments πŸ‘€ Which version of me... β€’ Has better chest tension β€’ Reduces the chance of injury β€’ Gets a full intended stretch β€’ Uses tempo to get the most out of the weight used Vote on the poll below πŸ’ͺ🏼 by @harrychadwicktraining

One version of me has: β€’ Better control β€’ Doesn't use momentum β€’ Uses tempo β€’ Doesn't over bend at the elbow β€’ Targets more shoulder than Tricep Some people will always disagree with training techniques. Did it get you? Lets break it down... One version of me has: β€’ Better control β€’ Doesn't use momentum β€’ Uses tempo β€’ Doesn't rush β€’ Reduces chance of injury Some people will always disagree with training techniques. Which side performs it better? Lets break it down... One version of me has: β€’ Has a controlled essentric β€’ Keeps chest high throughout β€’ Accelerates from the stretch over exploding Some people will always disagree with training techniques. With this Pec Dec Fly. I think it is pretty obvious which version of me perfroms it better. Yet for many they can't perfrom it with the same control, why? You go to heavy, or ego kicks in!
