Meet the band 4/7: And all the sudden the crowd went wild for… HARRY! HARRY! HARRY! HARRY! @harryfbaby !!!!

The sweetest, the coolest, the hippest bone player you’ve ever met!!!! I’ve known this cat since college and when I started putting The Magnetones together, I knew the horns would make or break the thing. Harry didn’t just learn the parts, he lent an ear in the arranging… and his ears have shaped what this project sounds like. A lot of what you’ll hear in the horn lines is the assistance of his musical brain at work.

He plays in some of the best bands in Philadelphia and is still one of the most under-celebrated bone players in the scene… yeah I said it… Y’all that know, KNOW. This dude’s BAD. Harry is that guy, that friend, and that mind that makes this city work.

Speaking of which, we have masters back NOW! A few more weeks and we’ll finally be dropping our first single. Stay with us to hear Harry and the rest of the crew very very very soon!

Harry Forlenza-Bailey is a Philadelphia based trombonist making his fateful return to the stage as a band leader at Notsolatin. This concert will feature original compositions, arrangements of standards, and varied flavorings of a brass quartet with the rhythm section across a myriad of styles and grooves. This is a surefire way to a wonderful night of music featuring Philadelphia’s finest musicians!
