These are my Top 3 Bands Top 3 Songs, in my opinion anyway 👀 Who are your favourite bands and what are their best songs? Let me know 🤝

Riff 1 is Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Still yet to see these guys live sadly but maybe one day! The other 2 though, I have seen!

Riff 2 is Bodysnatchers by Radiohead which I was lucky enough to see live twice last year 🫪 Bucket list moment for me!!

Riff 3 is When You Were Young by The Killers. One of my favourite bands since I was a kid. Finally saw them for the first, and only time at Glastonbury in 2019. What a magical night that was ✨

Guitar tabs are included for all 3 of the songs that I play in this video so you can learn to play them too!

All played on my Fender Vintera 50s Stratocaster 🎸

This is how many streams you’d need to be a full time musicians, is it more of less than you thought? 🫪

Either way, it’s crazy that the number goes up 2,000,000+ if your distributor takes a cut of your earnings, which is why I’ve used @distrokid for 10+ years! 🎸

I based these on a few different things. Firstly, my own actual earnings per stream. You earn more or less per stream based on a number of different factors, location of the stream being one of them, so you may earn more or less than me per stream. Secondly, I assumed the streams are 80% Spotify and 20% Apple Music. This is purely based on my own data. Thirdly, I used the UK living wage (specifically, the middle point between London and non-London) to calculate the amount you’d need to earn to be full time. You may need more or less than this depending on where you live and how you live 😊

Did anyone manage to get Oasis tickets!? 🫪 Here are 3 of their guitar riffs that I’d really love to see live on the Oasis 2027 tour! Only problem is, I didn’t even manage to get a code 😂

Feeling very grateful to have seen Liam Gallagher at Glastonbury back in 2019, but still hoping that one day I’ll see the full band 😭

Riff 1: Acquiesce
Riff 2: Frollickin’ (lol) in the Bushes
Riff 3: A Bell Will Ring

Plus I’ve included the guitar tabs for all 3 riffs so you can learn them too!

All played on my @hartwood.guitars Charger! 🎸

How cool is this!! Music fan? Well then there’s probably something you’ll love in @prop_store’s upcoming Music Memorabilia auction! As a massive fan of Radiohead, Oasis, Nirvana and Pink Floyd it was crazy to see the guitars, but with pieces from Michael Jackson, Queen and even the Spice Girls there’s something for everyone! 🎸🎧

You can view the exhibition, just like I did, this weekend. Find your free tickets in Propstore’s bio! If you see something you like, remember the auction is taking place on the 1st and 2nd of October! 🤝

Here’s how to play the intro guitar riff for This Charming Man by The Smiths! Admittedly, it’s not quite how the original was played, but it’s perhaps the most common way to play it these days. So this tutorial mostly uses the 1st and 2nd strings on the guitar! 🤝

Tabs are also included for each part too so you can listen to my explain it, and see exactly what I’m doing too!

Played on my utterly incredible @fender Japan Inspired Stratocaster in Matcha Green 🎸🍵

1970s: Derek and the Dominos - Layla
1980s: Guns N Roses - Sweet Child O’ Mine
1990s: Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit
2000s: Biffy Clyro - Bubbles
2010s: Arctic Monkeys - Do I Wanna Know?
2020s: Sam Fender - Rein Me In

What happens when you play iconic guitar riffs on the ‘wrong’ guitars!? 🎸 Literally nothing, except they sound a bit different 😅 Anyway, what do you think? Do you prefer the way the riffs sound originally? Or would they have sounded better on a different guitar with different pickups 👀

Riff 1: The Smiths - This Charming Man played on a Gibson Les Paul Tribute

Riff 2: Guns n Roses - Paradise City played on a Japan Inspired Fender Stratocaster

Riff 3: Pearl Jam - Yellow Ledbetter played on a 75th Anniversary Fender American Professional II Custom Telecaster

10 years and 13 days ago, on a random Friday night, I met the love of my life and 13 days later we were a couple. When you know, you know, and we were clearly right 🥹 I feel so lucky to have found my person so early in life. Someone so full of life, adventurous, determined, hilarious, compassionate and beautiful. A decade of laughing, seeing the world, and sharing music with each other just like we did on that very first night. I love you loads @annalise__emma 🫶 by @harryseaton
