POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The Jeep did very well during Trail Hero. It was very stable and didn’t unload. But there was a little damage from the trip.

Small dent on the windshield frame from Twister.

Missing paint on hinges and B-pilar.

@bajadesigns LP4 met a rock wall bending a 3/16” bracket. Light has some rock rash but that’s it.

@evo_mfg sliders took a beating all week. I even slightly bent one off a ledge on the Unforgiven. The hit was so hard, that my phone flew from the dash off its mount, to under the rear seat. The front fender near the rocker panel also has a slight warp from that hit. 🤕

The @mce_fenders met a rock wall on Twister which caused it to crease and fold over. A little heat brought back the shape of the flare.

My rear @arb4x4 air locker started to leak enough air to push fluid out the breather. This will be the second repair in the last couple of years.

I did replace a worn-out Johnny Joint during the week. Other than that, the Jeep is still in great shape. 😂

Should the Ram should be my “Overland” vehicle? The running boards need to go. A winch would be nice and something to convert the bed into a sleeping compartment. Oh yeah, 30 more lights. What else do I need?

Yes, I am still working on the Jeep. Atlas and shifters are installed. I built a new, beefy crossmember to support the 4-speed. My driveshafts are with @adamsdriveshaft right now for modifications. I need to completely redo my exhaust which is the next project.

What’s your recommendation for winch line? I still need to replace this one. 😆

Shakedown run with my son @bigmachine_xj 🤘

Ms. OlyJK came along — we ran up to Capitol Forest, in at Waddle Creek and out at Rock Candy. The XJ put in work but she's telling us what she needs… lot of trimming in our future. 😅

Good day with my boy. More to come.
