⚠️Only use it on 10 bit footage, 8 bit Footage hold less color information, so pushing them hard creates bandings and ugly visible stripes in smooth area like skies and walls

This small change took my footage from flat to cinematic

Tip- Make small moves. Lift the black just a touch, then check that the image dosen't look washed out

😌

The matte's ALPHA OUTPUT carries your selection. Connect it to other nodes to reuse the same highlight selection for more tweaks, like adding a soft glow or anything you like according to your look

Move the slider until it feels right.

Lower the BLUE and sky turn darker and moodier
Raise the RED and skin tone get brighter

Use it wisely not too much!

👾Rule of thumb- If you notice the vignette or halo around the subject, dial it back by half
