11 SEPTEMBER ROLLERDISCO

36framez | Lis | Musah | VIKI | ularjati | Grey Area

✨🛼 Turn practice with @hart.rollers @ramsterjams 🛼✨

Here I’m trying to learn a turn that I want to incorporate into my ATL Slide. It looked easy 😂 but it definitely isn’t for me yet, and I’m still struggling with it 🫣

Luckily, Rami from @hart.rollers is patiently guiding me through it 🤗

I’m afraid it’s going to take quite a few hours of practice before it feels smooth, but skating between the trees in Wilhelmina Park in Utrecht makes every minute worth it btw. New skatespot! 🥹

Thanks, Rami! 🙌🏽🛼

WORKSHOP #2
ATL-Slide + G-Slide with @ramsterjams 🛼

This guy doesn’t need an introduction: Rami spreads his skate love from Utrecht all over the world – and this time, Berlin is next!

Founder of @hart.rollers skate school and someone who genuinely believes skating is better together. Rami’s workshops are known for that feeling of a whole group clicking into the same groove. He specializes in the G-Slide and ATL-Slide – two styles that look effortlessly smooth but have real technique behind them.

His heart doesn’t just beat *for* skating, it beats *through* it. As the founder of @hart.rollers skate school, Rami has built more than a community – he’s built a movement. And when skaters roll in unison, that’s where he comes alive.

Whether you’re lacing up for the first time or looking to level up your slide game – this one’s for you.

🎟️ Tickets for workshops will be available mid July! by @hart.rollers

Two killers on wheels — ❤️ @hart.rollers and 🛼@sony_on_skates — smashing @ashleyimani ‘s choreo from 1 to 4, non‑stop, left AND right 👏👏

Tell me this isn’t the most satisfying thing ever… ta, tatta, ta, tatta, tatta, tatta, taaaaaa 😜

My heart is still in 🇲🇽 with @rollovercancun

Obsessed with this routine! 🤗🛼

All the way from Utrecht, Netherlands 🇳🇱 via Cancun, MX 🇲🇽 and back to sunny Los Angeles, Cali 🇺🇸 it’s HART’S CHA CHA (1-7)

This fun group routine was created by my friends in @hart.rollers & taught by the one and only @ramsterjams 🖤❤️ (my brother from another mother)

I learned it during Rami’s workshop at @rollovercancun with the help of a couple Rami’s Angels @sony_on_skates & @rolling.bianca

This routine is simple to learn and can be varied up past its sequential 1-7. But try this flow to get started!

1. Rock It
2. Curtesy
3. Side Turn
4. Front & Back
5. Front Turn
6. Back Step
7. Scissors (heel/toe manuals)

❤️Pro tips: 🖤
- The base step starts to the right and is a Gangster Walk with a “cha cha cha” at the end. Think of that “cha cha cha” as the bookends/ bread of the sandwich on each side.
- All variations initiate on the right side and are done on both sides (except 6- back step- only on the right) after the “cha cha cha”
- All variations start with the “inside leg” (aka between the bread of the sandwich).

The skaters here had only JUST learned this, so you can too!

✨🌷I’m Dutch, so let’s do ‘The Dutch Foundation’…🌷✨

The first time I tried this move was at @esquintfoundation taught to me by @quadsk8 and @mariska_mbmcoaching in Rijswijk 2.5 years ago. The ending was more like a long slide at that time, I remember. I should get some lessons there again too 🌷✨

But then it was picked up in different places, the move was traveling around. So here I am today, practicing a move that evolved through different people like @ramsterjams @invisibleskatetribe by @leggsylennon and I’m getting back to the basics of it because I love learning the variations.

Let me know if you know this move too, or a variation of it. I’d love to know!

(It’s not just laughs and bloopers… 😏🛼) ✨Worth saving 😌

Last Sunday at @hart.rollers by @ramsterjams in Nieuwegein, it was exactly that: fun, chaotic… but also seriously hard work 🔥🥵

Because honestly… Crazy Legs The Box looks fun, but meanwhile you’re pushing so hard that the lactic acid doesn’t just stay in your legs, it creeps all the way up into your groans 😅

What you can clearly see here:
shifting your weight is EVERYTHING.
If you do it too late or not enough… you’ll literally fly out of it (yep, that’s me 👋🏽😂)

And then there’s the rhythm…
you either flow with it, or completely lose it 🤣👋🏽 Yep.

But that’s exactly what makes this exercise so fun:
you can do it with multiple skaters at the same time, crossing through each other, turning it into one big organized chaos 🛼✨

So I’m curious…
how’s your Crazy Legs The Box going? 👀🔥

(Love, Debbie 🛼❤️)
