POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I just came across the scrapbook the dancers from our first Study Abroad in Barcelona made for us 🤩 That was a fantastic year with such a wonderful group of young artists! I miss them all.
Stay tuned because we are gearing up to return this summer! #letsgo by @harteldancegroup

Full circle.

Meegan first trained with Austin in 2001 as a dance major at OU. Years later, she returned to continue her studies—and now, as she prepares to graduate with her Master’s this month, she shared the floor with him once more.

Austin, OIDF Director and OU faculty, led his final warm-up of 2026 alongside a former student turned colleague in the same space where it all began.

A powerful moment of continuity, witnessed by today’s students.

Last chance to see CDO live tonight.

What a Wonderful weekend I spent with Micah Bullard and Karen Boyd Bethel, who brought their love of dance, artistry, and passion to the studio and shared it with the students at the Oklahoma International Dance Festival, Spring Intensive. Thank you, Thyrsa Da Rosa, for working your magic to bring this all together. Thank you, Maria Engles, and Emily Lower, for helping it run smoothly. It was especially meaningful and warmed my heart to have Alma, Micah, Karen, and Emily all together with us for the weekend, a full circle moment for sure.

Thank you, Oklahoma Contemporary Art Center, for providing such a beautiful space for everyone to dance in.

It is with a heavy heart that I write that my beautiful mom passed away last Tuesday, October 29th. She was witty, smart, passionate, and funny. She is the reason I became the artist that I am today. Her unwavering love and support helped me reach my dreams. I will miss her forever. by @harteldancegroup
