Best Man ✊
My brother got married to the love of his life at the Greek Church that my mom and dad got married at. The reception was at our childhood home, just the way my mom and dad did theirs at my mother’s childhood home. It was absolutely electric and a dream come true for everyone involved, including my dad who was smiling down on the whole event. Congrats to you both. Absolute epic with the boys on Palentine’s Day.
Mount Wilson, tallest peak in Vegas in 16 hrs ✅
Inti Watana 5.10c linking into the top part of Resolution Arete 5.11d - 2500 ft
3am wake up.
4:30am hike in.
2hr approach with 1,700’ of gain to the base.
Climb took 9.5 hrs.
Summit at 4:30pm
Descent over 4,000ft through endless rock gully’s and an incredible amount a boulder hopping down to the desert floor. Roughly 6.5 miles - 4hours.
Back to car - 8:30pm

First half marathon in the books ✅
I was aiming for an 8 minute per mile pace but ended with 7:40 per mile. Maybe it’s because we properly fueled with all you can eat sushi the night before. Maybe it’s because the weather was perfect. Or maybe it was the incredible company I kept all weekend. What I know for sure is I actually loved the experience mentally and physically. Onward🕺🏼🤘 taken in Las Vegas Strip by @hartley.erickson

We have an Iron Man in the family! Code, your tenacity, willpower and discipline throughout this entire process has been incredible to witness. And you did it all while raising over 23k for the ALS Foundation in our father’s honor. He’s proud. I’m proud. We’re all proud.

In a world where I could be inspired by any number of people…I’m most inspired by my brother.

Also, shout out to my other brother from another mother, @sean.jester for spearheading the design process of Cody’s DHAA custom tri suit. You’ve made this event even more meaningful to my family through your contributions. Thank you always ✊ taken in Panama City Beach, Florida by @hartley.erickson

First alpine climb in the books. Petit Grand. Rocky Mountain National Park. 1000 ft climb. 12000 ft elevation. 10 mile hike. HEAVY PACKS for our sleepover.

Simply the best.

Side note: A few days before this happened I smashed my knee and shin filming a video on a hike (swipe to see). When it happened, I was actually concerned that I may have sprained or partially torn something. That still may be the case… X-rays coming soon 🕺🏼🕺🏼The next morning I could barely bend my leg. I popped an advil, iced my knee, kept moving, and believed I could endure whatever I needed to for this adventure. Interestingly enough, it still hurts to get out of bed and I can’t bend my leg to stretch my quad. Yet somehow it didn’t hurt as much when I was locked in on this goal. I’ll take that as a miracle. Worth remembering that the mind, the heart and advil are very powerful. You’re never out of the fight. Keep moving, one step at a time. Even if it hurts. Ok, that’s the end of my inspirational rant. Reflecting on 2024. Missing my pops a little extra. He always said “life is good.” He’s right. And it’s really good when you take a moment to soak it all in. Loss, setbacks, injuries, and hard times, make the good times all the more special. Grateful for it all. Cheers to 2025 by @hartley.erickson
