It’s been a while since I shared something personal here.

Harucake has been such a big part of my life for the past seven years now, and our little storefront just turned three! And now, I’m officially 50 days away from becoming a MOM❤️

Yes… I’m having a baby girl, due October 10th👶🏻💕

The past several months at Harucake have been a little different. We’ve kept our menu a little smaller and we haven’t been taking on quite as many special cake orders as we normally do, so some of you may have wondered why.

The truth is, I’ve been growing a baby while continuing to run Harucake🤰🏻🍰💪🏻

Pregnancy has been much harder than I expected, both physically and mentally. There were so many things I still wanted to do, but I realized I couldn’t keep up with everything the way I used to. So I’ve had to slow down a little and focus on what I could manage.

Going through pregnancy myself has also given me a whole new appreciation for moms. I always knew it wasn’t easy, but actually going through it is something else. I have so much respect for every mom who has gone through this!!🥺🙏🏻❤️

Through all of this, I’m thankful to our team for keeping things going.

I also just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been a part of Harucake over the years, whether you’ve been here from the beginning or found us somewhere along the way. All the support and understanding through the changes these past few months has meant a lot to me🥹🫶🏻 And thank you for letting me share a little bit of my life with you too.

I still can’t believe how much has changed over the past seven years, or that I’ll be meeting my baby girl so soon. I’m not sure what this next chapter will look like yet, but there’s so much to look forward to!🥂✨

This Dubai Mochi Ball is all about balance🤍

We use highly regarded Sicilian pistachios from Italy, known for their deep, natural nuttiness, along with Valrhona white chocolate for our filling, carefully chosen for its quality and purity. Our pistachio paste is made in-house by slowly grinding whole pistachios, allowing the pure flavor of the nuts to remain rich and true.

To let the pistachio truly shine, we keep the chocolate minimal—no heavy sweetness, just a clean, smooth finish. Even the cocoa powder on the outside is 100% Valrhona cocoa powder.

It may feel a little more special, but that’s because each piece is made fresh the same day, in small batches, using ingredients we genuinely believe in.
