This song is about the people who never truly leave us.

Even when they disappear from our days, something of them remains - not always as a clear memory, but as a hidden signal inside everything we do, feel, dream, or become.

A light moving beneath the surface.

A little glimpse of Radiance, the new Haruka video.

This song is about the people who change us forever - the ones who leave a light inside us, even when they’re no longer part of our lives.

Their presence becomes a trace, a glow, a memory we keep carrying.
And somehow, through that radiance, we keep shining too.

The video is a heartfelt tribute to Video Girl Ai, a manga and anime that deeply shaped my teenage years and still moves me today.

The full video will be released on July 20 (because it's also my birthday).

I’ve been working on new Haruka tracks for the last few months.

Even though Heartwave came out in January, many of those songs were actually written years ago: some in 2004, some in 2021, and only three were truly new.

So here’s a tiny 30-second glimpse of something fresh I’m working on. I’m not even sure if this one will make it into the final shape of the next release, but it felt right to share a little fragment from the process.

Haruka / 春華

The name Haruka comes from the union of Haru and Hana.

春 is Haru: spring, return, the moment life begins again.
華 is Hana: flower, but also splendor — beauty blooming into light.

Haruka is not just a name.
