Announcing verity den’s second album “wet glass’ coming October 24, 2025. The new album was self-recorded and self-produced over the last year and is built upon the same foundational elements as their debut — noise, texture, ambience and simple songcraft. Lazily thrown into a shoegaze or dream pop bucket by some, verity den’s music avoids obvious labels. @heathendisco, naming the band’s debut it’s 2024 Album of The Year, wrote, “this thing is just perfect, patient, and pretty revelatory for any band playing in this puddle decades after the fact, and the little-recognized high card they’re playing with is texture… — reminds that the best bands don’t fall into a stylistic trap so much they rebuild the trap altogether, and let others do the falling.” “‘wet glass’ flows between multiple zones including, but not limited to, the melodic Yo La Tengo “Painful” era drive of “wet glass” and “green drag”, the loopy Flying Saucer Attack haze of “unsolved mystery” and “highway fifty four” or the loner neo-Fred Neil devotional “to trees”.  Impressionistic lyrics, effective songs and jams that sound warm and familiar. The make-up of ‘wet glass’ is dense, yet simply beautiful. Unintentionally cinematic. Verity Den conjure a sound that soaks in like an Epsom salt bath after a long day of being pummeled by your 9 to 5. SWEET RELIEF.” @davidkennethnance The first pre-release song + video for the title track “wet glass” is streaming now. verity den ‘wet glass’ (AMI065) Standard Black LP / Coke Bottle Clear LP (Bandcamp Only) / Digital Pre-order now (links in the bio)   all songs written and recorded by trevor reece / mike wallace / casey proctor / reed benjamin mixed by casey proctor mastered by @carlsaff cover image by verity den design by @michaelvallera inner sleeve and center label images by @stilwell71 press photo by @wilsonherlong_ by @haruspexpalace
