Jewish students + allies at Harvard University organizing for Palestinian liberation 🇵🇸 and building Jewish community beyond Zionism

SIGN ON AS A JEWISH ORG OR FACULTY MEMBER!! This Tuesday, the presidents of Harvard, MIT, and UPenn are being called to testify in front of Congress to “answer for [the] mishandling” of “countless examples of antisemitic demonstrations on college campuses.”

We reject the assertion that criticism of the Israeli government is inherently antisemitic. We stand in complete solidarity with Palestinian organizers and advocates for Palestinian liberation on our campuses.

See the full statement and list of signatories at the link in our bio. Sign on to the statement (form attached in statement) if you’re a Jewish organization. by @harvj4p

PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN LOCATION!! HOOP Mutual Aid for Gaza invites you to join us for a performance showcase and flea market this Sunday 4/12 from 2-6:00 PM in Made by Me (1685 Mass Ave, between Harvard and Porter Square). Our market will feature banh mi from Phinista, matcha and vietnamese iced coffees, prints and jewelry from local artists, and thrifted clothes.

All funds will go directly to supporting Palestinian families in Gaza continuing to endure Israel’s brutal genocide and blockade — each purchase provides material support in the form of essential medicine, food, clothing, and housing.

The performance showcase will begin at 3 PM and continue until at least 5 PM and will feature talented singers and dancers from the campus community! We ask that attendees pay what they can in lieu of formal ticketing so that performers’ work is compensated in the form of additional mutual aid donations. If you would like to make a contribution to Palestinian families but cannot attend the market, please Venmo @hoopcoalition. 🇵🇸🇵🇸 by @harvj4p

Last night, S4P and C4P Jewish Caucus & Va'ahavtah Community⁩ hosted a Free Palestine Passover Seder dedicated to Palestinian liberation! We had a night of community sharing our traditions with a focus on our solidarity with Palestinian liberation! 🇵🇸🕯️

Jewish leaders challenged our elected officials if they’ll commit to naming Israel as the perpetrator of violence against Palestinians in the implementation of Question 3.

Our Jewish comrades' faith and traditions are foundations in the movement for liberation for Palestine, which begins at home here in Somerville. by @harvj4p

Same enemy, same fight. Venmo @hoopcoalition or DM us about alternative payment methods to support Minnesotans facing ICE terror and Palestinians facing IOF terror. by @harvj4p

Over the past six months, Mubarak has opened up to us about his and his family’s experiences surviving Israel’s genocide in Gaza. The words he has shared demonstrate great resilience, hope, and believe in humanity, and we want to share these words with the world today. In return, we ask that you share whatever you can with Mubarak’s family — every donation can help them secure medicine for their father or clothes and blankets to stay warm in the cold winter temps. Please Venmo @ hoopcoalition today ❤️🇵🇸 by @harvj4p

This month and every month, Jews say FREE PALESTINE 🇵🇸🇵🇸! Last month, a few dozen Jewish members of Somerville for Palestine and our community members once again gathered to stand against the Israeli genocide, occupation, and starvation of Palestine. We sang and chanted, and afterwards we ate dinner together, and learned about the history of leftist Jewish organizing. —Organized by the S4P Jewish Caucus! Sign the Jewish solidarity letter (linked in our bio) to get on the mailing list! by @harvj4p

Come to Widener Steps tomorrow at 11:50 am for our first keffiyeh Thursday picture of the school year! Every Thursday of the week, wear yours to show solidarity as the genocide in Gaza continues and escalates. We hope to see you there. by @harvj4p

🇵🇸SHOW YOUR SOLIDARITY WITH SAHAR🏳️‍⚧️ Sahar is a trans Palestinian woman in Gaza who is enduring constant bombardment, displacement, and starvation at the hands of Israel’s ongoing genocide. She and her family need our immediate support to help them raise $30,000 to fund their evacuation from Gaza in the future. Every single dollar is a contribution to their survival. Venmo @ hoopcoalition to donate, and DM us if you need an alternative payment method! by @harvj4p
