POV: Nepali friend took a Vietnamese friend to a Bollywood party… now explain this. 🇳🇵🇻🇳

Next thing I know, I’m confidently teaching my two Vietnamese friends Bollywood dance moves like I’m a certified choreographer… even though I was making half of them up on the spot. 😂

My parents sent me abroad to earn a degree. Instead, I’m out here giving free Bollywood lessons and converting my Vietnamese friends into Bollywood fans for the night. 😂🇳🇵🇻🇳🪩

But honestly? This might be the best cultural exchange program we’ve ever signed up for.

Woke up embarrassingly late. Breakfast at home? Yeah… let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Ended up at Waffle House for my emotional support meal,scrambled eggs and raisin toast.

Mother Nature then decided to film her own disaster movie, so I got trapped there for a couple of hours while it rained like Houston was auditioning to become an aquarium.

Finally escaped, rushed home, got ready at lightning speed, picked up @_vpthuan and @tinadiep0711 , and took my Vietnamese besties to a Bollywood party. Safe to say they survived… and even learned a few tumkas. I’m basically doing international cultural exchange at this point.

Got home around 3 a.m., feet hurting, social battery somehow still alive, and immediately passed out.

10/10 day. Would absolutely ignore my alarm again.

Holding my Associate Degree in my hands feels so surreal. So many late nights, sacrifices, self-doubt, and little wins all led to this one piece of paper. It’s more than a certificate—it’s a reminder that every step, no matter how hard, was worth it.

These are my journal pages from my FIFA dump. 🤍⚽

The day Brazil played Japan in Houston is a day I’ll carry with me forever. I still remember walking into the stadium with my heart racing, surrounded by a sea of yellow and green, wondering if this was really happening. For years, I had only dreamed of experiencing a World Cup atmosphere, and somehow, life placed me right in the middle of it. Every chant, every cheer, every heartbeat felt louder than the last. For those 90 minutes, nothing else mattered. I wasn’t thinking about tomorrow or yesterday, I was simply present, living a moment that once felt impossible. No photo or video could ever capture what it truly felt like to be there, because the best part of that day wasn’t what my camera saw, it was what my heart felt.

And to the universe… thank you. Thank you for the last-minute surprise that turned into one of the most unforgettable days of my life. Sometimes the most beautiful memories are the ones we never planned for. I’ll carry this feeling with me for a very long time. 🇧🇷💛✨
