A quick haircare routine. Just some easy braids to get through the week. My apologies for not having captions. I'm still figuring that out. In lieu of captions, here are the steps below:

1. Prep my hair for a wash by oiling my hair and putting it into sections.

2. Washed my hair with a clarifying shampoo. I didn't condition, because I'm going to put a rinse (@manicpanicnyc) in my hair.

3. I mixed the color with conditioner to make it more moisturizing and applied the mixture section by section.

4. I let the color sit for 45 minutes to an hour.

5. I rinsed the color out of my hair and put my hair back into sections.

6. I blow dried my hair using the @revlon paddle brush blow dryer.

7. After blow drying, I trimmed and dusted my hair.

8. Then I braided my hair using a very small amount of curl cream (@auntjackiescurlsandcoils) and braid gel (@myafricanpride).

9. And I'm done. I was able to wash these braids and keep them in for almost 6 weeks without rebraiding. Also, there were no tangles when I took them out. Win win! 💁🏾🪮💅🏾
