Well here’s an unexpected first… I won?? I WON. I’m now an award winning TV writer, and an award winning TV actor???? Like WHAT.

This week I woke up to the news that I had won THREE Gold Telly Awards (for Writing, for Voice Acting, and for Mental Health representation in TV). I’m also equally as honored to have an episode I wrote receive a Silver Telly Award for Accessibility & Inclusion in TV.

This is… epic. 😭

“Panicking Potato” was a sweet episode about a puppy with social anxiety. The intention was to share with a young audience the message that it’s okay to have different needs and boundaries and how respecting those can make friendships so much more fun for everyone. A LOT went into this episode coming to life. I’m so grateful this episode and its message exists.

And Zucchini was a small four line character who had one episode… which turned into four episodes… which turned into a regular supporting cast member. It was my first acting gig in a while and I absolutely adored voicing this chaotic little energetic magic hamster.

Thank you to the team behind @mittensandpantstv , @writers_guild_of_canada , @actratoronto , of course the @tellyawards , and all my awesome family and friends who have supported me along the way.
