First time visiting Michigan, and it was a great experience. I also had the opportunity to visit one of the largest mosques in the U.S. and learn more about Michigan’s diverse Muslim community.

One thing I didn’t realize before visiting was how significant the Shi’a Muslim community is in parts of Michigan, especially around Dearborn. It was interesting to experience that diversity firsthand and learn something new along the way.

First Michigan trip in the books. Alhamdulillah. 🇺🇸 by @hassnpato

Many Somali students face major challenges with the recognition of their certificates when seeking opportunities abroad. To solve this problem, the NDTS (National Digital Trust System) was built, which the @oshentech team has been working on for 2 years.

I am proud to have been the producer/director of the documentary about this program highlighting this message and system. 🎥✨

We are delighted that this documentary reached the international stage at UN Open Source Week 2026 in New York! 🇺🇳

Congratulations to everyone on the team. We will release it soon, InshaAllah! 🎬 by @hassnpato

Can’t believe it’s already been a month since my first trip to New York City.

When I was planning the trip, I had so many doubts. At one point, I almost decided not to go. But deep down, I knew that saying yes could either bring me one step closer to my goals or open doors I never imagined.

Looking back, I’m grateful I took that chance.

During UN Open Source Week, I had the opportunity to meet government officials, ministers, international agencies, founders, and some incredible leaders in the technology industry. It was one of those experiences that doesn’t just add to your resume it changes the way you think and shapes your journey.

As for NY itself… what a city. The people, the food, the energy, and the atmosphere were everything I expected and more. I’d easily give the experience a 10/10. Being there during the FIFA Club World Cup made it even more memorable—the city was alive every single day.

One thing I’ve learned is that we all have an inner voice that fills us with doubt. It tells us we’re not ready, that we should wait, or that we’re aiming too high. The only way to silence that voice is through consistent hard work, staying focused on the long-term vision, and trusting Allah’s plan.

Tawakkul isn’t about sitting back and waiting for things to happen. It’s about giving your absolute best, putting in the effort every single day, and then leaving what you cannot control to Allah (SWT). That’s where true peace comes from.

Sometimes, the opportunities that change your life begin with simply saying yes, even when you’re scared.

Alhamdulillah for every opportunity, every lesson, and every door that continues to open. 🤍 by @hassnpato

Alhamdulillah.

2 years ago, I decided to take a break from social media. As we all know, that’s not an easy thing to do these days, especially for young people. I trained myself to live without constantly scrolling. Sometimes I would even lock my phone in the closet and turn it off.

I’m not saying this to brag. Honestly, it was one of the hardest habits I’ve ever tried to break.

I deleted almost all of my social media accounts and only kept X and LinkedIn. Why? Because if you’re focused on building a career, learning, networking, or creating opportunities, those were the only platforms I felt I needed. Everything else became a distraction.

Long story short, that decision opened a lot of doors for me.

Instead of spending hours scrolling, I spent that time thinking, learning, building, and working on real-world projects that could hopefully make a difference for the next generation.

About a year ago, my co-founder @ak_baaji and I decided to stop talking about ideas and start building with one simple goal: to help fix broken systems and build trust through AI, blockchain, and digital infrastructure.

It hasn’t been easy.

There were plenty of highs and lows. A lot of setbacks. A lot of unanswered emails. Some people laughed at our ideas. Some never replied. Some ignored us completely.

But through all of that, we stayed consistent.

We showed up every day.

We knocked on every door where we thought there might be an opportunity.

Most importantly, we knew our intentions. We knew where we wanted to go, and we committed ourselves to a long-term vision not 6 months, not 1year, but 5 to 10 years.

Alhamdulillah, that consistency eventually paid off.

Recently, we were awarded a major project through a UN agency with support from the World Bank. I can’t share the details yet because of contractual obligations, but it’s one of those moments that reminds you why you kept going when nobody was watching.

More coming 👀

I can’t be a pessimist, because i’m alive. To be a pessimist means that you have agreed that human life is an academic matter, so i’m forced to be an optimist. I’m forced to believe that we can survive whatever we must survive.
