I have a retail shop now. Where? I’ll reveal when the shop is ready.
At 61, people question me why do I want to do it. I should stay at home and tend to my veggies, do sewing and ogle at Zhang Linghe? I cannot think of any reason after taking quite a lot of flu medication. I can say is that this is a rather central location and MRT station is 130m away. But parking is bad… very very bad for those who drive.

I will update later. Traveling from home to shop has taken its toll on me. I have quite a fair bit of headwear quotations waiting for me…. not replying yet till I am clear-headed. taken in Singapore by @hat_factor

Working with Sabutan (type of pandan plant that grows aplenty in Philippines) mat this afternoon on my first wooden hat block. Steam is a milliner’s best friend. This wooden block was purchased after I completed my millinery course in London. taken in Singapore by @hat_factor

Right now I have things in 3 places, studio, shop and home. And I cannot find things that I need!!!! All I know is Zhang Linghe is standing at a corner in my studio.

I was at my studio to make silk flowers but there is only one piece of thai silk that is too thin. So I have to go home now because I think… yes, I think my pre-stiffened silk is at home. taken in Lip Hing Industrial Building by @hat_factor

My current love fabric- African “batik”.
A little background why they are referred to as “batik”. The Dutch colonized Indonesia and took the art of batik making with them. They mass produced with machines and brought the fabrics to Africa and the fabrics evolved to today’s vibrant colours cotton fabrics.

I use mainly those gold shimmer to make these headband. Tassels help give the illusion of a slimmer face (that’s what I believe and you need to try on to see it).
