Up Next 🕯️ Hatch Dance is delighted to be a part of the 2026 Fall Forward Festival! Presented by Hothouse, the Fall Forward Festival is a celebration of Twin Cities dance happening at the @luminaryartscenter August 14-23. Each performance includes a different line up of artists.  Hatch Dance performs 'Yield' in the following shows:  Friday, August 14th at 7:00pm Saturday, August 15th at 7:00pm Sunday, August 16th at 2:00pm Tickets on sale now! Ticket link in bio. 🏡 Showing A dance theater performance ruminating on the spaces we come to call home.  The fifth collaboration between choreographers Berit Ahlgren and Helen Hatch July 8-12, 2026 Showing is a new dance-theater work by HoneyWorks and Hatch Dance, premiering in Downtown Minneapolis July 8–12, 2026. Stepping into an unfamiliar space, audiences are invited into a shifting world of imagined rooms, remembered places, and embodied landscapes. Moving between architecture and emotion, Showing explores how spaces hold memory, shape identity, and carry stories across time.  Featuring Adeline Beck, Annie Carlson, Elena Hollenhorst, Gemma Isaacson, Annika Johansson, Jamie Kraft, Jordan Lovestrand, MerSadies McCoy, Ezra Mehta, Blake Nellis, Emily Trapnell with Randy Reyes as the Real Estate Agent, live original music by Alex Proctor, and lighting and projection by Shane Donahue. This activity is made possible by the Bridge Fund for Dance program through the City of Minneapolis Arts & Cultural Affairs Department. A world premiere in 24 hours! Come see what Hatch Dance Artistic Director Helen Hatch and dancers Juliana Johnson and Emily Trapnell create for @strangeloopprojects “Fresh Baked” this Saturday, May 2nd at 8:00pm. "Fresh Baked" is an immersive choreography challenge produced by Strange Loop Projects at Strange Loop Laboratory. Each installment invites a cohort of choreographers to create performance-ready work within a 24-hour window—shared live with an audience that same evening. Working from the same set of prompts, each artist builds a piece in real time, resulting in four distinct performances shaped by instinct, collaboration, and decisive action.
