If you’ve ever traveled with a hat you’ll know it not the easiest thing. The drive can be awkward, do you set it on the dash and try to save it every time you turn? And at the airport, security isn’t always very pleasant with hats. Sometimes they don’t want me to take it off, but sometimes they dismantle the whole thing to make sure it’s safe. And in the plane, holding it for hours isn’t really the most comfortable way either.
It actually kinda sucks.
@hatpac solves all of those issues in the most comfortable way: a very lightweight backpack!

This buckle was a gift from the man himself, Super Looper Roy Cooper. I was shooting a commercial in Texas and needed a "vintage looking buckle". I asked Roy if he had one I could borrow and he pulled out 2 or 3 duffle bags full of trophy buckles. He came across this one and said "here, you can have this one. It's a reserve world champion, I don't need that one." I traded him the buckle I was wearing and have worn this one since. I will continue to wear it now to honor an old friend. Three facts about cowboy hats you need to know:
1. Touching someone’s hat is a big no
2. The shape you choose becomes your signature
3. Setting your hat on a bed is bad luck
