2026 is winding up to be a big one. Back on the road and dirt bikes after shoulder surgery mid last year and feeling confident. Enjoying summer with friends/family and gearing up for a trip to Europe in May - heading to England to see @rhysbischof and @aasamps, then head to Isle of Man TT with @trevstttours and a Swiss alps moto tour after.
I’ve put road racing Vic titles on the back burner to get better prepared for next year and get some practice in.

Ever wondered how race car liveries are made?? This Formula 500 livery for @coreyquick_ was my first set of graphics on a race car, a great little project to continue improving in new areas. Awesome to see these cars race @avalon_raceway Monday night. They run the same Yamaha R6 engine as my race bike - epic…

Today I’ve had my 3rd shoulder surgery to try and get this wing fixed for good after roughly 12 dislocations over 8 years. Currently my life is pretty settled and I’ve been taking the time to enjoy the small things, it feels like now is the best time to undergo the surgery and I’m keen to stay active and focus on the physio. Thanks to my family for the support in getting this done. Putting my best foot forward to clear the brick wall I’ve been smacking my head up against since 2017, here’s to a dislocation free future… by @hatt_mill_

- 2025 racing update -

I won’t be lining up for the first race of the season this weekend at @phillipislandcircuit, but I wish good luck to all those that are! 🏍️

It’s really hitting home today, while I’m writing an application for my professional engineers registration, round 1 has commenced with Friday practice. Seeing pictures of everyone in the pits and on track has me really missing it!

2025 is off to a good start for us but I have hit a few road blocks preventing the preparation required to race at the best of my ability. We’ve needed to prioritise finding a new rental and an overseas trip we have planned in March.
With such a short break between seasons over summer I’m not ready to race the new bike yet, and I’ll be overseas missing round 2 of the @vic_roadracing_champs which means 2/3rds of the season will already be over!

So this year is a learning year on the bike, I’ll continue to develop my understanding of the bike setup and work on my health, ready for some races later in the year and into next year.

Thanks to @highsideshop @winnermotorcycles @southwest_trackdays for their continued support.

First test on the new R6 with @southwest_trackdays. A lot of work went into the bike to get it track ready in the last couple of weeks. I was nervous that it would take a lot to adjust to a new bike, especially with GP shift pattern. However my first day on the bike went flawlessly, the bike is ready as a baseline platform to learn and build off in 2025✊ by @hatt_mill_

My first season in @vic_roadracing_champs Supersport 600’s. Despite a crash in round 3 at Phillip Island I managed to hang on to 3rd place in C grade for the year. Had an awesome year racing with great people, and came away with 3rd at the final round after some tight and fair racing.

Thanks to @highsideshop for keeping me running with gear and bike parts, @winnermotorcycles for ordering my tyres, and most importantly Rosie, mum and dad for sacrificing their weekends to play in the pits.
Benny from @filmwop has absolutely killed it capturing the last race for the year. He’ll be back next year so be sure to give him a follow.

Attempt 2 at my own race livery, just in time for the last round of @vic_roadracing_champs at Broadford next weekend! Pretty happy with this one, but as always learnt a lot for next time.

Nearly time to race again!
The last round of @vic_roadracing_champs is coming up at Broadford. After my crash at Phillip island the bike is back together with just a couple loose ends to tie up. I learnt a lot at Phillip island but the weekend was cut short by the gravel trap. Keen to get back to broadford to continue the progress. Will try to keep it upright 🤞 by @hatt_mill_

Only a couple weeks out from round 3 of the Victorian titles. Currently sitting in 6th overall for the 600 supersport class.
Feels like an eternity since being on the road bike but with plenty of dirt bikes lately and a shakedown this weekend at Broadford I’ll be ready to go..
