rise & shine

I am forever grateful for the people, the experiences and the music.

I know the year’s not over yet, but so far it’s been about taking chances and making decisions that are just the right amount of scary. Learning, fcking up, learning again. Earning, spending it all, earning again. Saying yes before I’ve even worked out how the hell I’m going to make it happen, and trusting that I’ll figure it out along the way. And honestly, music is a pretty beautiful excuse to do all of the above.

NYC, Nashville, LA, you’ve inspired me.
Australia, it was so, so good to see you.
London, you’ve got me head over heels. See you soon🤍

Ps. “Just sublet your room and go”

Guess?

In between songs that night, I spoke to you all about how I’ve been so patient with my music, taking my time to figure out what it is I actually want to put out into the world. You all cheered in that moment, and I honestly felt like everyone in that room had my back.

And hearing you sing the words back to me when I knowwww you can only have learnt them from videos online or from coming to shows… 🥹 Thank you for being patient with me.

@overnight_oates is my statement for what may look like it happened overnight, has in fact been cooking for fkn ages

Anyway, blah blah love you all 💕
