Meet Maddie. She’s 6, she lives in Overland Park, Kansas, and in May she was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare childhood cancer. Maddie LOVES painting rocks, so her family started Maddie’s Rock Garden, and strangers from all over have been mailing her painted rocks to keep her spirits up through treatment. Let’s send her a whole bunch from Charlotte. 💛

🗓️ Tuesday, Oct 13 | 2918 The Plaza
🎨 6:30–7:30: Paint a rock with us and get a FREE extra bingo card
🪨 Already painted one? Bring it and get a FREE extra card
🎟️ Raffle items all night, with proceeds going to Maddie’s care fund

We’ll mail every rock to Maddie’s Rock Garden. Can’t make it? Paint one at home and send it yourself:

The rotation changed.

You told us what we missed. We listened.

Welcome to the Charlotte Karaoke Guide V2.

@hattiesclt and @stusbarrelhouse are among the new additions, both recommended by the community.

Hooligans joins them, kicking off its first karaoke night last Friday.

Nine spots across Charlotte. Private rooms, neighborhood bars, basement dives and the hosts people come back for.

Keep the recommendations coming. We’ll keep listening.

Save it. Share it. Grab a friend and go sing. taken in Charlotte, North Carolina by @hattiesclt

Room service with a view.

BarFly has officially landed at Camp North End.

We stopped by @roomserviceclt for lunch before heading upstairs for a first look at their new sister concept, @barflyclt.

The warm retro hospitality energy so prevalent downstairs is just as apparent at BarFly.

A leopard-print pool table, disco ball and skyline views set the scene for a relaxing afternoon or an event-filled evening.

Thank you to Room Service and BarFly for welcoming us. We had a great time checking out the new space and will definitely be back for a rooftop DJ set. taken in Camp North End by @hattiesclt
