I’m incredibly honored to be named one of Traditional Home’s Rising Stars of Design 2026. To be recognized by a publication I’ve admired for years, and alongside so many talented designers, is something I still can't believe!When I started this business, my goal wasn’t recognition. It was simply to create homes that felt deeply personal--layered with history, color, character, and the stories of the people who live in them. Knowing that work has resonated beyond my clients’ homes is both humbling and surreal.A heartfelt thank you to @krissa_rossbund for so beautifully capturing the heart of my work, and to the entire Traditional Home team for this incredible designation. Why do certain rooms in our homes pull us in like a warm hug? It’s rarely the most technically perfect space or the one that feels the most polished. Instead, the rooms that truly feel like home are layered with the things we love: a collection of keepsakes, a bold piece of art we couldn’t imagine living without, fabrics that invite you to curl up, colorful reminders of our children’s creativity, and antiques with soul and a story to tell. Who says a pool house bath has to be basic? We leaned into soft, sun-washed color, textural tile, and playful curves to create a little jewel box moment tucked just beyond the kitchen. A scene-stealing guest room moment. We wrapped this space in a sweeping pastoral mural by Cole & Son, creating the feeling of stepping into a storybook landscape.
