Back home at Alcatraz!
The first time we played here was on the Start From The Dark reunion tour in 2004, and since then we’ve been coming back on basically every tour.
This is one of my absolute favourite venues in Europe, fxxkin’ awesome city, venue and crowd, coming here is just like coming home!🤩👍🏻

We’re back where it all began!
Late in 1985 we started the recordings of The Final Countdown album, at the Powerplay studios outside Zürich in Switzerland.
We knew that we had a written and produced a great album, but we could never in our wildest dreams have expected the magnitude of the world wide success it became!

Here we are tonight celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Final Countdown album at Salle Metropole in Lausanne, so come on down and join the party!🥳👍🏻

I remember that day 40 years ago well, when the record company called us up with the great news, that The Final Countdown had just become one of the most requested songs on national radio!
This was the first ”hit sign” we ever got, and the rest is history.. Holland you got this freight train rolling, and tonight we’re stopping by Musis in Arnhem to deliver a ton of rock’n roll, so come on down and get your share!😎👍🏻
