It’s officially #libraseason and also #Kerisseason. HAPPY BIRTHDAY @kerislove because she is and has always been THAT GIRL. Now, because we have free will, please join me in eating a slice of cheesecake on your kitchen island or table, burning some sage and some bridges, only taking enough chicken wings to feed yourself, fighting racists, living outside this whack binary system and using our voices and art for change…. And be sure to tune in for episode 5- dropping soon! #hauslightsup by @hauslightsup

Artists have always imagined the future before the world caught up.

This August, we’re bringing together artists, storytellers, musicians, poets, filmmakers, designers, and cultural workers to explore how creativity can help shape the movement for reparations in New York.

POV: You leave the theater saying, “That was just a play.” Then halfway home you realize… they somehow put your family, your ex, your boss, and your last bad decision all on stage. 😂

Art has a funny way of holding up a mirror—even when we weren’t ready to look.

What’s your ritual after a show?
Do you:
❤️ Debrief over dinner?
🎶 Listen to the soundtrack on repeat?
📸 Take stage-door selfies?
🤔 Replay every scene in your head?
😭 Question your entire life?

Drop your ritual below. ⬇️ #TheaterKids #ArtImitatesLife #Broadway #TheaterCommunity #movielover by @hauslightsup

And……….we are live!

Check out episode 1. (Links in our bio)

In the debut episode of Haus Lights Up, We’ll dive into the intersection of art, activism, music, theater, and modern life. From avoiding the Met Gala to imposter syndrome, late-stage capitalism, small-talk at parties, and the looming sense that society might be held together with duct tape, no topic is off-limits. We’ll explore how culture shapes us, why artists matter, and how humor, community, and a little righteous outrage help keep us all going. by @hauslightsup
