& Another One!
Sowing Seeds is an Arts, Crafts, and Gardening workshop dedicated to the youth (ages 5-13). Our goal is to introduce the youth to new health habits that they'll be able to maintain as they grow into young adults. We'll also be briefly discussing how we are very much like the beautiful plants and flowers that we know and love. Just like we take care of them, we must also take care of ourselves. One of the best ways to do that is to stay away from all things that are harmful to our bodies, including addictive substances.

How well do you know yourself? 🤔 Some people can't answer the question above because they have absolutely no idea what brings them joy. For others it's easy. Maybe you love to Read, or play around in the kitchen cooking up new meals, or maybe it's listening to your favorite artist uninterrupted. Whatever it is, DO MORE OF THAT! Do put it off until this weekend or even tomorrow. Do it today. You owe yourself that much.

& for our Sober Socials who haven't quite figured it out yet, grab a pencil and a piece of paper.

One thing that we subscribe to over here at HOM, is journaling. We highly recommend the act of getting your emotions out of your head and heart and out onto paper in front of you. Here's your opportunity to find out what brings you joy.
Make a list of (5) things that just thinking about makes you smile. Write about why these things are special to you.

Drawing a blank and can't quite put your finger on anything that makes you smile? Instead write down 5 new things you hope to try this year and why. Slowly but surely make time for those things and watch as they become a new source of Joy for you.
