Atreides is celebrating 😸International Cat Day😸 by watching Olympians surfing legit waves of consequence ✨🏄🏻‍♀️✨

san diego comic-con 2024!! it felt like there weren’t as many cosplays on the floor this year, but we only had friday passes, and at least it wasn’t very humid. still there were a lot of fun interactions, including the abbot elementary ava fest behind the convention center 🎢🎟️🍭

of course we had to go to Bath to take the waters🚰, which thankfully tasted more like iron even though the highest mineral content was sulphur 😂

had a lot of fun at the @thejaneaustencentre (did you know tea was actually kept under lock and key?!), enjoying authentic trenchers at the historic @sallylunnsbath, making it to the royal crescent street before sunset, and taking a stroll along the avon and seeing this darling swan family 🦢🪷

there really should be an anne elliot 5k where they start at the royal crescent street!

Fun throwback spots at Comic-Con, including Wallace & Gromit - The Wrong Trousers by @haveaduckieday

Friday at San Diego Comic-Con!!! So fun to cruise the exhibit hall floor for the first time since 2019. Excellent Star Trek and Star Wars spots, great cosplayer of Hera Syndulla (my fave Star Wars character), Catbus in the fur, sad baby Wallace, and X-Wing pilots to go with my Captain Teva sneak attack tee

Clan of Two // I just had to crochet this dish cloth set after seeing these new skeins from Lily’s Sugar ‘n Cream 🫧

So who do you think The Spies are?? I feel like it was Paz Vizla and the Armorer just because the Mandalorian survivors on the planet seem too easy of a throw away plot point. But I also love the Armorer so I hope not 😬

Sometimes you don’t actually need a $7 tape runner or $14 fine point glue pen for some detailed paper crafting. Just a 15 year old jumbo bottle of good ol’ Elmer’s glue ✨🐮✨

✨Yay for the 20th Anniversary of Ep. II✨ Casting on a project that’s apparently 20 years in the making 😆 Young teen me was so amped by Padmé’s agency, and was forever on the hunt for a waffle blanket I could wear as this cloak. She’s definitely one of my fashion icons, right up there with Audrey Hepburn and admittedly Ms. Frizzle if I take a hard look at my closet 🤣

What’s your favorite Star Wars outfit?

hello there 👋🏼 sorry i’ve been pretty MIA this year; i’d planned to be back come spring after a few month’s break but it’ll still be a bit until i reopen my shop.
✨
long story short, i needed the time to get a handle on some chronic health stuff following two surgeries since October 2020 as well as house stuff that had piled up. i’m still dealing with medical stuff (more to come in that soon maybe), but hope to reopen in the fall with a new website and some new fiber arts items 🥳. currently the worst of it are device-induced migraines while trying to work from home, so my shop website/product updates/new listing photos are on pause.
✨
thanks so much for all your support so far!! i’ll still sporadically post cat pics, stuff from my fangirl life, and personal projects that have been keeping me “productive” during flare-up and insomnia times.
✨
p.s. DM me if you have any favorite vegetarian recipes, especially instantpot ones. also mackerel or sardine recipes bc i have no idea what i’m doing there🤗👩🏻‍🍳
