At the beginning of 2025 we found out we were expecting our second baby. I spent most of the year growing him, and then the rest of it just loving on him and Millie. I may not have traveled the world or checked things off my bucket list this year, but I did soak up time with my kids. Time I know l’ll want back one day.

It’s bath-time and bedtime and nap time and lunch time. It’s sneaking in school work after bedtime to enjoy the giggles during the day. It’s your first baby meeting your second baby for the first time. & closets now full of toddler and baby clothes. Baby clothes that fit your toddler just yesterday it seems.

Thank you, Jesus, for meeting me in this very ordinary life. For providing for us again and again. For your presence in the mundane— while I fold laundry or wash the dishes. For these two babies who make the years so much more fun.
May 2026 be more of the same. 🤍 by @havengoulet
