For years, building something in Niagara meant picking a tribe. Not anymore, friends. Haven Workspace and the Niagara Falls Innovation Hub (@nfinnovation_hub) are launching the Niagara Passport, the first dual-location membership in the region. One membership, two spaces, all focused on changing the way local professionals and business owners work in Niagara. Sometimes work requires intense focus. Sometimes it helps to be in a room full of intelligent people building great things. Most of us occasionally need a bit of both. Haven, in Niagara-on-the-Lake, brings the wall-wrapped member lounge, boardroom, private offices, full-week access from 6am to 9pm, espresso and tea service, and a programming calendar built to level up. The Hub, in Niagara Falls, brings robust 24/7 access, a massive open workspace, content creation suite, prototyping and design lab, makerspace, and monthly 1:1 business coaching. Two of the top professional communities. One ultimate membership. Daniel Bordenave and his team have spent years building the necessary infrastructure for founders in the Falls. Reggie Tan (@rxggietan), Madaline Zannes (@madalinez), and our team have spent much time building a professional "haven" in Old Town. It was a match made in heaven. Last week our partners at the @nfinnovation_hub hosted their annual Demo Day outdoor event - and @madalinez and I were onsite to support with a booth full o' goodies from @havenworkspace, @zanneslawfirm, Story Mode, and Haven's shared coworking membership with the Hub: the Niagara Passport. (I had to delete and reupload - fixing blurred images is flawless with ChatGPT until you realize you need to remove the EXIF meta data or it will get tagged as AI - not to mention how it can change people's faces! So here are the actual photos) I vibe coded a prize wheel app for our booth using GPT-6 Astra and it was a hit. Attendees had a chance to spin and win prizes, while @madalinez shot professional headshots for attendees all afternoon. Huge congratulations to the @nfinnovation_hub a very successful Demo Day, and to the 55 entrepreneurs who graduated from the program. Another great day in Niagara.
