Delighted to have two series of my creations selected for this 😊 You can see them plus works from many more artists at Wrights. Join us to celebrate at the Opening Event Friday the 4th, 7-9pm! Love to see you there! (and of course you’ll have to vote for me to bag that solo show 👩‍🎨 next year! 😉)🫶 by @haverkampart

*NEW NEW NEW*
Guess what?!? This week I’ve been putting a little gallery together on Printumo (why does stuff like this always take so much longer than expected?).
Not completely done yet but made a good start if I may say so myself, sooo I’d like to ask you to take a minute and have a little look at some old and new work I’ve been selecting so far. Click the link in bio 🫶

P.s. Constructive criticism/feedback is very welcome, thanks in advance (no pressure 😘). by @haverkampart

‘Amber Current’ is one of the 9 pieces from the ‘The Alchemist’s Stream’ series. Does the title resonate with you?
Love the paring from this painting with the beautiful music from @maneeshdemoor

Got my painting mojo back 🤸‍♀️ and am buzzing!
Finally, after several surgical adventures these last 2 years (one more big surgery on the cards) I’m super chuffed to feel inspired again by what is happening in the studio…it’s been a while 😅👩‍🎨🧡
*SOLD* the original painting in the first photo.

*HOT NEWS* canvas prints of these pieces are now added to my new Printumo gallery! There’s lots more work to follow but you are very welcome to take a sneak peek to see what’s already there 😘 click on the link in my bio and have a little browse through work old and new, enjoy 🤗 by @haverkampart

‘An Unexpected Adventure: Secret Cenote’
Acrylic on wood panel
30 x 30cm

Framed and unframed canvas prints in various sizes are now available via link in bio.

Today I finished a series of four paintings called ‘An Unexpected Adventure’.
Inspired by a surprise trip to the rainforest and coast of Mexico. It was a time filled with miracle and wonder…so many happy memories.
Thank you Pim 💚 forever in my heart.

This painting is called ‘Secret Cenote’.
The cenote we were taken to was unspoilt and hidden deep in the jungle…far away from tourists and only known by locals. It was connected to an underground river that briefly surfaced and then disappeared underground again.
A truly magical swim surrounded by hundreds of curious little fish, deep inside the jungle.

‘An Unexpected Adventure: Jungle Walk’
Acrylic on wood panel
30 x 30 cm
Also framed and unframed canvas prints available via link in bio.
.
.
The third painting from the ‘An Unexpected Adventure’ series.
As the title suggest the making of this painting was inspired by a jungle walk.
Several impressions stayed with me even though it was decades ago.
The high humidity and temperature, the smells and unfamiliar sounds, giving it a proper ‘I’m on an adventure!’ vibe, the light filtered by the canopy. A true feast for the senses.
And then there was this very large (almost hand size!), vibrant bright blue butterfly that happily fluttered in front of us for quite a long time as if it was showing us where to go.🦋

‘An Unexpected Adventure: To the Temple’ is another painting from the adventure series.
As the title suggests this piece was inspired by a visit to one of the many temples that can be found in Mexico.
We were very fortunate to access the site in the evening when the sun was setting, after all the public had disappeared. Mind blowing.
