Filmmaker | Screenwriter | Editor.

❤️ @rkfioffl

5 years later, I’m finally sharing this with you. ❤️ A moment from 2021 🎬 While promoting my short film “Lifespan,” filmed during the COVID-19 pandemic, I was asked an interesting question about the potential of a short film. This reel is my answer from that interview. 🎥 — Havijithan

🎬 **How They Made Predator’s Shimmering Camouflage — 1987**

How did the Predator become *invisible… yet still visible?* 👀

In this breakdown, I explain the classic camouflage effect from **Predator (1987)** and how the filmmakers created that iconic shimmering look long before modern CGI.

🔴 Red-suit matte
🎞️ Separate background plate
🔍 Wider-lens shot
⭕ Concentric inline mattes
🎬 Optical compositing
