POSTS STORIES REELS

IGN Live is always a massive lift on top of everything else, but it's so dang invigorating. Nothing will replace E3, but I'm still so glad I get to participate in covering the biggest gaming events of the summer. Xbox, of course, is always a huge highlight for me and they killed it this year.

As always, I forgot to get photos. Here are a few I did remember to take when my brain wasn't fried!! If you watched or read any of our coverage or attended (!!) IGN Live thank you SO MUCH. It means so much to me! by @havokrose

Life lately. by @havokrose

Some of my stationery friends got the Kodak Charmera, and as a lover of tiny things, I snagged one too! The photos? Not fantastic, but that was expected. Even still, I enjoy the odd quality to the lower light images. Morty in the first image is sitting in a sunny room, while my other two cats are in a darker one. I'll keep this by my side for outings. I'll of course still use my phone camera, but it's nice to have a dedicated device. The videos it takes are cute too!! by @havokrose

My lungs, vocal cords, and immune system went haywire at the end of January and didn't truly let up until this month. Yikes. Can't say it was a good year, though there werea few wonderful highlights. I'm always always grateful to my partner, family, and friends for loving and caring for me despite me turtling and take a million years to reply to messages. I love y'all. I also discovered that I also love crocheting and knitting. More of that and more of feeling like myself again in 2026 now that I have the right meds and understand my body a little bit better. by @havokrose

Finally, my IGN Live post! I've had a very hard time looking at photos of myself. To get personal, an ongoing health issue has made it so I'm on meds that make my face swell immensely and there's nothing I can do about it. They call it the "moon face," so at least it has a cute name? And more importantly, they seem to be working yay! Anyway, despite my health tanking, I'm so glad I did my best to rally and got to work alongside my dear colleagues. I miss getting to see them and it was so fun getting to do some live shows again! IGN Live just keeps getting better and I can't wait for it to come around again. Did you see the NVC pies in the face?! Thanks so much to everyone who attended and watched our coverage! Please use IGN Guides ty ☺️✨️ by @havokrose

I love living in San Francisco 🥹 Easy access to a Nintendo Store is dangerous but great for gifts. I had such a fun time visiting opening weekend!! I even got three Street Passes on my 3DS!!! by @havokrose

Went to Costco for the first time in many years and found a giant Pikachu!!! My twin and my partner wouldn't let me put it back 🥺🥺🥺 I have great enablers. by @havokrose

Happy Pokémon Day!!! It's always one of my favorite days of the year. I'm celebrating with my custom shiny Pawmi today by updating IGN's Pokémon Legends: Z-A Pokémon list heheh. by @havokrose

I have a hard time relaxing these days and medication and therapy just ain't cutting it, so I've been making time to learn new cozy hobbies! I completed my first Wooble (imperfect and so much fun!) and I've taken up coloring with Ohuhu alcohol markers that I plan to use for lettering projects too! Still getting the hang of them but this is what I've got so far. I hope you're finding ways to have a comfortable start to 2025 (and don't get so sick you're stuck in bed for days like me!). by @havokrose

Ahri! She's 11 🥹 She's also probably my #1 reading buddy of all the cats! Here's a bunch of the 50 books I read this year. I posted them all on Bluesky but I'm too lazy to write them out 😅 Happy New Year y'all! by @havokrose

Ten years ago today I started my job at IGN. I was a fresh college grad going off to live her dream 🥹 I've met many of my favorite people while working at IGN and made plenty of core memories. I'm so proud of all I've accomplished and looking forward to what I will accomplish in the coming years at my dream job 🐻💕🥹 by @havokrose

Went on a weekend trip to IRL Twin Peaks in November for my partner's birthday. It was super cold and foggy and just the right mood (even tho I almost got sick). We also went to some cool vintage stores and game stores and my fav tea spot, Don't Yell at Me 🥹 by @havokrose
