Pics from last night's @evergreyofficial show as they opened for Hammerfall, hence the wrong backdrop. I've been a huge fan of them since like 2002. I remember one night at Haditha Dam in 2005 watching their A Night to Remember DVD on my portable DVD player after a long ass convoy happy to unwind to the relaxing sounds of of Swedish prog metal. They still remain one of my all-time favorite bands. They don't come stateside very often so I always jump at the opportunity to see them.

The range is my happy place. I finally got the new @benelli_armi R1 with my @vortexoptics Razor LHT 4.5-22x50 sighted in at 100 yards though I definitely need to find the ammo it likes better than S&B 180 grain FMJs but that's what my gun shop had in bulk.

Pics from @kamelotofficial playing @thefillmore last night. It was an okay enough show where I was a friend's backup but they really need to fire their sound guy for ROYALLY dropping the ball a few songs in and their merch guy for their shitty planning. Seriously, who the fuck only has Medium tour shirts seven dates into your tour? That's just retarded. It's not like metal fans are known for their slim physiques.

I did my @fallout New Vegas Boomer costume this weekend for @galaxyconsanjose. The con was probably the worst one I've ever been to but at least I had a few people recognize what I was dressed as which is nice considering how small of a faction they are in New Vegas let alone the larger Fallout universe. Hopefully Amazon doesn't feel the need to fuck them up as badly as the other factions.

I presented Which Mechs Would Work @galaxyconsanjose last night. Eight people showed up and stayed because they had me at 1930 and the con basically shuts down at 2000. At least I got my reps in.

New rifle is new. Here's this year's birthday present to myself: a @benelli_armi R1 in .30-06. This is as close to being a Fudd as you'll ever see me get. The @seeallsights Mk2 is just a placeholder until I decide on a scope but that's what's going to eventually get piggybacked on top whatever scope winds up on in.

My @bawlsguarana can that was dented during shipping looks just like Stallone's face at the end of Over the Top and now you can't unsee it, pun partially intended.

Just in case you were ever curious about what three years of beard growth looks like on a bathroom floor, allow me to answer yet another question that nobody asked.

The song has literally nothing to do with this post. by @havwc616

My favorite thing to do every year @fanimecon is hosting my own panels. I've done Which Mechs Would Work for five years and I love how my crowds have grown. This year, I debuted How NOT to Fight a Kaiju where I roasted the retarded tactics used in various kaiju movies. The crowd seemed to enjoy it so I'm doing two panels a year from now on. I also made a decent chunk of change at swap meet. I'm just glad I missed the parking lot gooner foot juice bar service.
