Hey! Itʻs HYTC! Last week Sunday, we were on the north shore for our second in-person meeting of the year... we went to Kākoʻo ʻŌiwi , had lunch at the Waiahole Poi factory, visited Kualoa beach park & the Kaʻaʻawa Revetment, then came back to the B+K offices to plan out our impact projects. More soon! by @hawaiidot

The views from Aloha Tower's observation deck have always been incredible. For the past century, Aloha Tower has watched over Honolulu Harbor's maritime activities and urban Honolulu's growth. Check out how the downtown area has changed throughout the years. #AlohaTower #AnchoredinAloha

Aloha Tower offers the best view of Fort Street in downtown. Swipe to see the city grow.

With Hawaiʻi’s 2027 legislative session around the corner, local keiki, teens, and college students are heading to the State Capitol to turn their climate priorities into actual policy.

Please help spread the word so local students and families can join us at the 2026 Hawaiʻi Youth Climate Summit on Saturday, October 24, from Noon to 3:00 PM at the Hawaiʻi State Capitol Rotunda. 🏛️✨

This isn't just a rally—past youth participants have co-authored official state climate plans and drafted actual legislative bills, Hawaiʻi’s youth are proving they have the policy skills to lead our islands' climate future. Attendees will gain hands-on legislative skills, present ideas directly to state lawmakers, and enjoy free lunch, live music, and eco-friendly prize giveaways. 🍱🎶🎁

The mission of the Climate Future Forum is to inspire youth to be active and engaged participants in the 2027 legislative session on climate policy and action. The event will bring together youth (ages 14-26), educators, policymakers, experts and community organizations to evaluate and discuss climate action priorities and provide tangible steps to empower youth in legislative action. Our hope is for youth to forge relationships with policymakers so that they can continue to work together throughout the 2027 legislative session at the county, state, and national levels.

The Hawaiʻi Youth Climate Summit is free and open to the public. Engage with policymakers, community and government organizations and youth leaders to promote climate policy and action in Hawaiʻi.

Please bring your reusable water bottle full.

Aloha Tower was the tallest building in Honolulu at 184-feet, but not for long. In 1962, First National Bank of Hawaii built it's main branch at a height of 254-feet. #AlohaTower #AnchoredinAloha by @hawaiidot
