My walk with faith hasn’t been perfect. I grew up going to Catholic school and was baptized as a baby, but for a long time my faith didn’t feel personal. I had moments where I felt lost, questioning, falling short, and feeling distant from God.

This past year, everything started to change. I turned to God when I needed Him most, and He met me right where I was.

I still carry my Catholic roots with me, but my relationship with Jesus is what defines my faith. Choosing to get baptized means so much to me because it was fully my decision. I truly felt called to it.

Coming to GCU, I found not only my best friends but an incredible community that has pushed and encouraged me to grow in my faith like never before. Honestly, without the support of my friends and the people around me, this step wouldn’t have been possible. They’ve helped guide me, pray with me, and remind me of God’s presence in my life.
