My match with Vladimir Sidorovnin.
Before I say anything else, I want to thank Vlad and let everyone know just how grateful I am to have had this opportunity.

I won 3-0. I have been working on technical abilities and giving my arm some much needed recovery these last 3 weeks. I showed up feeling strong as ever, and was able to execute and dominate in my lane.

I will say, I went to the hook with him in round 3.. and there was no lane for me there to pin him. He felt insanely strong there.

So.. this match has earned me the #18 spot in North America in the 198lb LH Class.. Top 20 has been the goal since I started competing 6 years ago, and to have accomplished this I just don’t have the right words to describe how proud and happy I am. Thanks you Steve Fernandez.. you are a lifeline and invaluable to the North East Armwrestling scene.

As a new rank holder, I will not be slowing down. Competition has become a very important part of my life and I will be looking to climb these ranks and defend my title on a very regular basis.

6 weeks until WSA Finale in San Diego, then it’s Blake Bouillon at Natty Bros: Total War Armwrestling Supermatch Series on November 21st.

After that I’ll be resting, training, and preparing to defend my rank against Mike Gower at 98 Winterblast 2027.
Be ready Mike.. by March I will be significantly stronger.

Brandon Ellsessor.. I will be ready for you soon enough to determine who is the true #1 in the State of NY.. much respect to you brother for your great and many accomplishments in this sport and life itself.. but I will not be stopped. Mark my words.

September 26th.. I’m getting the shot I’ve asked for.

Left arm best of 5 with Vladimir Sidorovnin for the #18 spot in North America in the 198lb class.

I’m not focused on anything but showing up as best as I can be. I’ve wanted this shot at the top 20 for a while now, and I’ve finally worked hard enough to earn this opportunity.

No matter how this goes.. it’s a huge step in the right direction. Win or lose I’ll leave with more experience and will be better positioned to improve and climb the ranks in this sport.

Nothing but respect for Vlad, I know very well how accomplished he is and what he is capable of. I’m grateful and excited as can be.
