ANAHEIM POKEMON WORLDS 2025

This was my first Worlds EVER and even though I was only there for one day, I HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER. Obviously the highlight was meeting so so so many of you! 🥹 and I still missed so many of you I wish I could have seen.
Became more than online friends with a ton of people, met a ton of new people, and experienced the mayhem of the Pokemon Center!
I lived the moment as I should have! More pictures to come as people are still sending more. Thank you to everyone who stopped me from miles away because my peripheral vision is not the best🤣
I love you amigos!

◓Happy Pokemon Day Amigos!◓

I have never really made an introduction post before because well the guy with the mask must be Hawlucha Libre😅

So here goes my introduction and some fun facts about me!

Hi! I’m Hawlucha Libre! This is where Hawlucha Libre’s story began.

◓I thought of making this persona when I started collecting (again) in 2021 and wanting to share my cards online. I was going through some rough times as both my grandparents had just passed away within the same month from Covid. A month after that my cousin took me out to buy Pokemon cards with him and it ignited something again I hadn’t felt since I was a kid.

◓This is a 1 of 1 custom luchador mask I ordered to be made from Tijuana, Mexico 🇲🇽
I was never a die-hard WWE fan but when I did watch it, I always rooted for @619iamlucha !
Other favorites included La Parka 🕊️, Octagon, Nacho Libre, & everyone from Mucha Lucha!

◓My love for Pokemon started in the 90’s like many of us but sadly a lot of my childhood cards got sold in a yard sale when we were moving. But I did keep a couple, including my Gameboy Color and Red version game (my parents somehow got me the Spanish version)

◓My love for Hawlucha began when I binge watched every single episode from beginning to end (which at the time was Sun&Moon). When they introduced Hawlucha in the episode “The Forest Champion” I said thats my Pokemon, it’s the one Pokemon that represents my roots♥️

◓Will we ever see what you look like without the mask? The answer is no.
At least not online. There is a couple people who have been lucky to have seen me unmasked IRL.

◓My other favorite Pokemon include but not in any particular order: Jolteon, Tauros, Flygon, & Chandelure.

◓Other hobbies: I love soccer! Talk to me about it any time. & I love art! I don’t make as much anymore but follow me @ja_creates_

I think that’s as much as I could think to write! Thank you for reading this far. I really love this community above all. I have met some really great people and many whom have become really amazing friends.

Your Amigo,
Hawlucha Libre

Pokemon Worlds Exclusive Pikachus!

Hot take incoming: I was not the biggest fan of this year’s Worlds merch and that’s okay because this year I was on a very tight budget and it helped me not want EVERYTHING like last year lol it was a win win situation for me. I am grateful I got to attend my second Worlds in a row and for the experience of getting into the Pokemon Center😍

But all good things come to an even better end, I think that’s how the saying goes. While it is sad to be separating these two best friends, I am helping a good friend who wasn’t able to get into the Pokemon Center and that to me makes me so happy. I just love this community and the people I’ve met along the way🫶🏼

Maybe one day they will be reunited again!
