Glory be to God! In 4 days i will be the FIRST in my family to graduate college 🥹 I’ll be graduating from Florida International University with a BS in Biological Sciences.
TRANSPARENCY MOMENT: Putting myself through school has been one of the most challenging things for me over the years. I paid my way through school out of my own pocket by the grace of God. He has been there every step of the way, never left my side. I worked full time and went to school full time. When I was at Broward college I would leave work at 5pm and drive to class from 6:30-10pm. When I got to FIU I had days where I was on campus a full 12 hours. This took a huge toll on my mental health, I cried, I broke down from stress PLENTY of times but God saw me through. I would be nowhere without him. I wanna thank my friends and family for encouraging me and being there the whole way while I was anxious and depressed. I thank my UF family for allowing me to be in class and study while i was at work LOL😭 I love y’all. ISSA GRADUATE!! 👩🏽‍🎓🎉
