I wrote this song years ago, back when I first noticed that something felt ‘off’ with me. Tasks that seemed simple for others felt almost impossible for me, and I couldn’t understand why. I remember one day, after a friend told me I didn’t try hard enough to follow my dreams, I just couldn’t explain what was holding me back… so I put it into a song.

Fast forward to six months ago, when I was finally diagnosed with Severe Combined ADHD, ranking in the 1st percentile (finally made it into the 1% gang🤪🤘🏽). Suddenly, so much of my daily struggle started to make sense.

Trust me when I say ADHD isn’t a joke. While social media has normalized it a lot recently, even turning it into a ‘quirky’ personality trait, living with ADHD is hard every day.
