Take the time to reflect on where you have been and what you have been through. Be thankful that those things happened because they molded you into who you are.
.
Instead of looking at trials and tribulations as failures, look at them as opportunities to change and lessons to take on and use for the rest of your life‼️

Want to know what happens when you chase your dreams? People will say you’re dumb. People will call you stupid. People will tell you that you’re throwing your future away🚮. ⁣
⁣
NEWS FLASH⚡️: This is your life. You live it how you want to live it. ⁣
⁣
You have a 400 TRILLION:1 odds of being on this Earth. You are your own being, your own human, your own soul. You will have naysayers, but at the end of the day, you have 1 life. Live it your way. ⁣
⁣
Chase your dreams. Quit that job. Start that company. Build that house. Travel to that country. DO IT. You only have 1 life.⁣
⁣
Kevin Hart had the same people who told him he should start doing comedy, tell him he was dumb for quitting his job to pursue his dream of being a comedian.⁣
⁣
Most people who tell you no and call you names are really just jealous that you had the faith and courage to chase your dreams. Tell them “THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONCERN” and go do it.⁣
⁣
Have a great week! ⁣

A quick appreciation post for my time here at KU. I just want to first thank KU for allowing a kid like me to come walk on to their program. I never thought in a million years that I would fulfill my childhood dreaming of snapping a football in a college football game. But this year, that dream came true. I want to thank my family for consistent support through the downs and ups of my career. I want to thank my friends, both prior to college and friends I have made along the way here at KU. .
I recently had a great friend message me and he asked me what I learned from football these past 4 years, and what would I tell 2016 Kolin. .
Here is what I said “I would say I truly learned how to be persistent and patient at the same time. Not playing until these last few games has shown that if you are patient, and you keep putting in the work, your time should come. And when it does come, you must be able to harness the opportunity!! I would tell my 2016 self to never lose sight of what really matters. Never be afraid to be yourself and work hard.”
.
Thank you so much KU! To the fans, thank you! To the coaches and staff, thank you! .
Beginnings always hide themselves in ends! Much love Jayhawk Nation! 🔴🔵 by @hayeeskolin

Just had to post this in honor of my first ever concert and one of my favorite country singers... .
I was thinking about these lyrics in “The Gambler” that go ‘Every hands a winner, every hands a loser’... and that reflects to life with the fact that ANYONE can live out their dreams, everyone can be a winner or a loser. It doesn’t matter if you were dealt a pair of Aces or a 2 and a 7... NEVER GIVE UP! Rest easy, Kenny by @hayeeskolin
