God GAVE His son. This is a reminder that this is a free gift. There’s nothing we can do to earn it, no amount of work we can do or accomplishments we can earn. You don’t get a gift and then try to pay someone back for it. All God asks us to do is to make His name great. In life, we have one mission, and that is to make the gospel known throughout all nations. And we’re all called to a mission field, whether that is global missions or local. The Lord wants you and He doesn’t want anything in return except your heart. He is the only one that can fill that void in your life and He is your rescue, not your self-help plan. The Lord is waiting there for you. He’s never left you and He never will. Be “spared” and accept Him! by @hayja07

The thing i wait for all year and would miss anything to be at, CHURCH CAMP! Being in fellowship with fellow Christians for a whole week is such a life changing experience and opportunity to grow in your relationship with the Lord. This year the theme was idols. Now something to know about idols are they are often good things that become God things. The idols of achievement, self, approval, and gossip. These along with others are so prominent in the culture we live in. You’re ALWAYS gonna come up feeling short when you praise anyone other than the One who created you! No achievement will fully satisfy you. You will be constantly left yearning for more. The only that will truly fill you up is Christ. Then self, this is when you idolize yourself and you do everything your way thinking that it’s best. This makes us think of the question of who is on the throne of your life? In life I pray that you realize that the abundant life that is best for you is not the abundant life shaped by you. You will always feel empty but with Christ you will have life and not only that but abundant life and be satisfied. This ties into the next point which was approval. This is a huge huge huge thing in this culture we live in. I just wanna say this to you right now if you have kept reading, OUR VALUE DEPENDS ON CHRIST AND WHAT HE SAYS NOT WHAT OTHERS SAY AND THEIR APPROVAL. There is so much more in life than seeking the approval of others. Nobody can truly see you and love you along with value you other than Christ! Let me just say this…YOU ARE A CHILD OF THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS AND HE LOVES YOU REGARDLESS. Now comfort goes along with approval. Are you to afraid to step out of your comfort zone out of fear of others opinions? We have to be willing to be uncomfortable for the sake of Christ. Saying yes to where God leads you and being willing to lay down our comfort for the sake of Christ and be in discomfort for Him! And now to the last point talked about, gossip! Instead of using gossip to tear others down use your words to build them up. At the end of the day that’s another child of God you’re talking about.
