Aggies got game…at least for Homecoming weekend they did!!! Lit that A blue!!

Had a great weekend in Logan with H and his friends. Such a great group of friends he has made. We are impressed with them all. That’s all parents could ask for. May they all keep learning, laughing and supporting one another during this amazing time in life. Needed to get more pics of all the kids, but was keeping my camera tucked away and just livin in the moment while with him. Ahhh I love that kid!!

Summer break started heavy hearted, but I was able to break away and have some son time before heading home. It’s amazing to see him in his element with flying and being in the outdoors. Guess his Wyoming blood is right at home in the mountains. We hiked, adventured, chilled and laughed during our visit. Proud mama for sure. #wyoming #utah taken in Logan, Utah by @hayjolee

This week will be 6 months since my dad passed. We were finally able to get together as a family to honor and celebrate him this weekend.
Although I know I needed the closure, I wasn’t prepared for the pain and memories of that week in December to still catch me off guard.

My dad’s twin and his other two brothers were able to be there along with their kids. Some of my dad’s friends from high school to current buddies came as well. Other family and friends rounded out an amazing group who laughed, cried and cherished their time together remembering him. My dad always said we won’t ever be all together again unless it’s for a wedding or a funeral, little did he know he was the one to bring us altogether.
We took his ashes out to his favorite hunting grounds and my Uncle Bruce was not going to give up looking for a natural headstone he and my sister found a few weeks ago. It’s a sandstone rock that stands tall and had a crevice for the cross uncle Bruce made for his brother he met in the womb. It’s beautiful and fitting for the man he was.

I hope dad is proud of the day and his view. It was all done with love and care for a man that gave everything he could for his country, friends and family. May he rest-in-peace and await the day we hug again. by @hayjolee

Happy 19th 🥳to my favorite person! We are blessed to be your parents and have enjoyed watching that little bug grow and become an amazing man. This year especially we have seen you flourish in Utah and couldn’t be prouder. Keep being a character, going on adventures and remember you are in our heart always. Wish we could be with you today. Freshman year wrap for this kid. Had to edit down all the pics because of length. To say he “lived” is an understatement! This mama’s wish was for him to find his passion, people and place. He found that and more at USU. Love these kids and all the adventures they had and can’t wait to hear about more. 5:15am flight out of Sheridan. I appreciate not being fully awake because I think the emotions would’ve hit harder. It’s been a month on this roller coaster, and if you know me, I’m not a roller coaster fan. I have learned that waves come and completely knock you over or just flood you for a while making you struggle through the thickness. I haven’t found which one I prefer yet.
This new normal has also brought fear and worry for my surviving mother and the distance between us (physically and emotionally) feels even greater. I knew what a blessing having my dad was, but it has become even more clearer after being home.

May we all get through our struggles, may we all remember kindness and Grace for our fellow man. May all those that have passed, watch over us, be safe and now healthy, and continue to give us guidance and love. by @hayjolee

2025 Reflection: we had so many big moments this year it’s hard to capture them all. Hayden checked out colleges and found his perfect fit in USU. We had last golf tournaments, ball, graduation. Traveled through the UK and Spain. Sent the kid off to school and managed a house with just Louis being crazy. Sadly it wasn’t all great adventures, big life moments aren’t always happy. Losing my dad just weeks ago put a big gaping hole in my heart. This year will be remembered for many transitions. May 2026 bring healing, happiness and peace to you all. #2025 by @hayjolee
