Mild steel vs. Chromoly (4130)....how to tell:
The Spark Test: Mild steel throws long, smooth orange spark streams. Chromoly sparks are shorter, brighter, and explode into bushy starbursts.
The Sound: Chromoly rings with a sharp, high-pitched chime when tapped; mild steel has a dull thud.
Wall Thickness: Chromoly frames run thinner walls (.065"–.083") because of its strength; mild steel is usually heavier (.120").
This frame is steel so I might still hardtail it lol by @haylorization

I wouldn’t talk too bad about what the previous owner did to your vintage Harley-Davidson, and I definitely wouldn’t be calling them an idiot...after all, they’re the ones who sold you the bike.
This is baby’s first Shovelhead. I’m going to build it, and I’m still going to build the Sportster, too. I might just build both at the same time. At the end of the day, I’m just going to do whatever makes me happy. Hopefully, you guys follow along. Bye! by @haylorization

Some of my favorite bikes from @glorydazepgh 2026. Was an honor and a privilege to have a bike among these. #choppers #chopper #glorydaze2026 by @haylorization

Walking through a used motorcycle parts hoard, floor to ceiling. Worth it just for the scale of it. Every parts person has opinions about inventory sitting still, mine are about the industry, not any one shop. Whoever built this clearly knows what they have. If you're hunting something rare or obsolete, a place like this is where you start. Bring patience and a good neck, and a fat wallet lol. by @haylorization

Grabbed a shovelhead after a phone call I got in the morning to come check it out. He said it was a basket case, looked pretty good to me when I got there! Great deal, great weekend.. and seeing some old friends was great too! Except the wasp sting, that sucked lol another Harley chopper in the family. by @haylorization

Brother, it took every single ounce of spiritual discipline in my body not to just sit there and make violent vroom vroom mouth noises directly into the microphone. You asked for pure ASMR audio of the Harley Panhead chopper. by @haylorization
