Wanted to join in on this wholesome trend I initially saw on tiktok! (Also absolutely adore this song 🥹) I included characters that yes, I kinda do see bits of myself in, but I moreso have deep respect and love for them. They all possess qualities that I admire. Also had to throw in some childhood faves 🫶🏼

Happy Halloween everyone!
Thought it’d be the perfect time to share a post of @eugeniusnius and I’s outfit from the @projectmarket_space halloween market last week! Big shout out to everyone that showed love & appreciation for our outfits/stall and also took pictures! It was Eugene’s idea to have an ‘Over the Garden Wall’ theme incorporated into our table setup so ofc we had to dress up as the iconic duo! We had so much fun🫶🏼 swipe for a mini video, funnily enough we did not take as much pics/vids as we intended to (ffs we didn’t even take a full outfit pic AHA) even tho we had the same regret from last time 💀 by @hazelene.h

Been wanting to create a deep sea version of my garden eel drawing! Had to incorporate the same character 🫶🏼 Love the idea of her travelling through the sea making lil hats for these creatures! 🥰
After some feedback, I was encouraged to darken it further but was too scared to do it traditionally so I cheated using procreate sorry🫣

Check previous post for the process vid✨
This is a recolour of a work from 2021 (swipe to last slide for comparison) tbh doesn’t feel like it’s been THAT long since I drew it 💀 but i wanted to recolour it with traditional materials and then reincorporate my initial lineart digitally!

Made this work back in 2021 and have been wanting to recolour it (using the same lineart) for awhile and I finally did it! Decided to combine traditional & digital which was so fun and I liked the results. Feel like I connect with it much more now 🫶🏼

Held off sharing these as I wasn’t 100% on them but they still turned out cute! 🥹 Since making the garden eel artwork last year (couple posts back) I wanted to make ceramic trinket trays! Specifically to hold rings 🫶🏼 Hope you guys enjoy the glazing & lustre process!🥲 (I’ll make sure to film next time aha)
———
Since you can catch these guys on animal crossing I had to use a kk slider song (but lofi ofc🫡)

Wanted to create a wall mirror that could hold afew rings & necklaces/bracelets for everyday use💕 definitely doesn’t have the best hanging device, so i’ll have to redesign it better next time! I also had another fish on the bottom left but it broke off whilst it was bone dry and I just couldn’t attach it anymore😭 can’t wait to remake this again (defs w more animals) but I still wanted to share this one as I love the end result🫶🏼
