Huge congratulations to Brody on his first Grand Slam today in Wareham, MA! 💥⚾️

Absolute no-doubter — a rocket that landed 260 feet! That makes 3 home runs on the season with @energy_baseball and he’s just getting started.

Even more exciting, Brody has been selected to the Perfect Game All-Star Team and will be taking the field on May 20th — a well-deserved honor!

Keep swinging it, Brody. Proud of you! 👏🔥 by @hazellnut81

Champions!

I have immense respect for this group of boys and the journey they went on this season. It’s been amazing to watch the transformation of each player — from evaluations, to a great start with early wins, to responding to adversity and losses, and ultimately coming together as a unit to battle their way to the ultimate goal: winning the championship.

They competed with heart, trusted each other, and proved that when a team truly plays together, special things can happen.

On a personal note, this season was really meaningful for me. Getting the chance to coach alongside my dad, Greg Hazell, and my good friend Kevin Pray made it that much more memorable. And having the opportunity to coach my son Parker made this championship something I’ll always treasure.

Now it’s time for these boys to pay it forward to Franklin Recreation by picking up a whistle to ref or a clipboard to coach.

A season defined by heart, hustle, and teamwork — heroes on the court and heroes in how they’ll give back to Franklin Recreation, because that’s what our town does. taken in Franklin, Massachusetts by @hazellnut81

Great job by all the boys tonight. After being promoted to the next toughest division due to our strong regular season performance, they stepped right up to the challenge in their first playoff game. The boys put on a defensive and rebounding clinic to take down the #7 seed Medway team. Medway came in at 11–1, but our guys brought the hustle, teamwork, and intensity to earn a big 27–11 win. I loved the positive mindsets, unselfish play, and winning energy all around. 👏🏀

Our next test is against the #2 seed, Milton. The game is this Saturday at 2:25 PM at Marathon Elementary School in Hopkinton.

See you there!

Parker’s first touchdown. 🏈✨
All the early mornings, the push-ups, sit-ups, sprints, and late nights in the cul-de-sac throwing until it was too dark to see. The hours of one-on-ones with Brody. Every bit of effort brought you to this moment.

But the truth is—you earned this. Through your dedication, your grit, and your love for the game.

Your family couldn’t be more proud of you, Parker. This is just the beginning… and the best touchdown is always the next one. taken in Franklin, Massachusetts by @hazellnut81
