Honestly, I never thought I would be the owner of an oral care brand. I’ve spent nearly two decades in fashion. Every role you can imagine. It would have made sense for me to start my own fashion label if anything. But in a world of SO much, I didn’t feel like we needed more fashion brands. I believe we need more innovative products that shape the way we consume every day and the impact we leave behind. ONE YOU toothpaste tablets were developed by a close friend of mine, an incredible Oral Health Therapist - built on clinical understanding of what truly supports oral health and in turn your overall health. When the opportunity came to lead it into something bigger, I didn’t hesitate. Because it stood for everything I already believed in - health, conscious living, leaving things a little better than you found them. That’s what @oneyou.au is really about. First running event done ✔️ And honestly, I get it now. Thousands of people showing up to move together. Complete strangers lining the streets to cheer you on. Everyone wanting to see each other do well. There’s something SO special about that kind of collective energy. I’ve never really experienced anything quite like it. And im sure it won’t be my last 🖤 by @hazelmako

Coming home is always SO grounding. I was born and raised in Aotearoa NZ. I’m the middle child of 7 kids, and like many whānau here, we had a simple upbringing. I left 15 years ago, and being back always gives me so much gratitude for the life I’ve created since. Life here feels simpler. There’s a different kind of wealth. One that isn’t measured by currency, but by whānau, connection, knowing who you are and where you come from. It has a way of putting everything back into perspective. That life doesn’t always need to be lived at full speed 🤍 by @hazelmako

One thing no one ever tells you in business is the number of decisions you have to make. Big decisions. Tiny decisions. Decisions I never even knew existed. One thing I’m trying to get better at is making them faster. It’s veery easy to get stuck in analysis paralysis when you’re building a business. So I try to remind myself that if it’s not right, just pivot. You change it. You try something else. This canister came with a few decisions of its own. Finishes, logo placement and all the tiny details that probably no one else will ever think twice about. But I will 😂 Anyway, I think we have a winner. What do you guys think? x by @hazelmako

Big believer that we are what we consume. And what we eat is a big part of that. Don’t get me wrong, I looove a weekend trip to the farmers market. But some weekends are fuller than others and time doesn’t always allow for it. Anywayyyy, I recently started ordering @farmerspickau and I really rate it. Just a good find I thought was worth sharing ✌🏼 by @hazelmako
