Another year of making a college life I love 💛 Holy cow, this year has had some substantial ups and downs and I’ve realized how heavy the world has started to feel for me and for so many of you.
I’ve been trying to take some time recently to slow down and to really notice all that is happening around me.
A lot of people are carrying anxiety, fear, loneliness, exhaustion, or pain and while we are living in a time where it feels so crucial to make noise, the undoubtable silence around us can feel humiliating and oppressing.

In the wise words of a dear friend of mine Dita, “we are enduring a time where the world is grinning at us with a skeptical smirk”
And I couldn’t agree more. Despite the adversity and affliction we all continue to face, now is the time to move through life with kindness and love at the forefront of all we do for empathy has never been a weakness.

So as we close this semester and for some of us even close this chapter of our lives (yay for our graduates) I ask that you look to those you love as well as those you don’t know and strive for humanity and respect. Be patient, speak gently and allow not only others to be seen and heard but allow that space for yourself.
Now is not the time to tear eachother down, but instead a better time than any to find love and compassion for each-other on this beautiful earth we all call home.
