oh my dear goodness folks… CALL ME RIGHT NOW is out…. be forewarned of a semi sincere post incoming :0 which I rarely do on here :0

what a wonderful ride it has been with this album. I’d say it’s a collection of songs from the past many years. one of them I started back in 2020 and was one of the very first beats I ever made. It’s been a long process of tinkering and reworking and adding and changing melodies, and all these kinds of things. It’s incredibly cool to return to an old idea and then have many other ideas emerge.. as David Lynch said: “ideas are like fish”, and I thus suppose it turns out that certain fish would perhaps get along with fish who live in a later (or earlier) time… get it?

It’s somewhat easy to get lost in the drudgery of art making - the doubts, the mysterious nature of motivation and intentions, BUT, it really is so cool to make something that didn’t exist before and share it with the world… and if “the world” is just one friend, or a pet, or a plant, that is also awesome.

last night was really cool. thank you all who came to the release show - it was really so life affirming and cool to see community come to absolute life…

while there aren’t any featured artists on this record in the traditional sense, it includes so many collaborations. I am incredibly grateful to the musicians and artists that helped bring this to (incredible and wonderful) life. here’s the team:

@edwards_eli @fredlikestheinternet @bass_face @oli.is.sunny.bear @noahrottkeys @plush.sound @catch3m @connerduke_ @thelauragalindo @greg_tock @pheeno_music

Feel free to sound offf in the comments with any thoughts of any flipping kind

Love,
Graham by @hazzard.yes

the famous lyric “the boys are back in town” from Thin Lizzy’s song entitled “The Boys Are Back In Town” was actually misquoted and brutally stolen from the ancient idiom “the boys aren’t backing’ down”, which is attributed to the aeolian Greeks. while I spent most of my days tirelessly advocating for bringing this truth to the public eye, next Saturday (October 10th) BOTH will ring true….
