Henry’s Cat with his Duck and Goose friends. 🐱🦆🪿

Over the summer I have been on residency with my uni, researching work kept away within the archive. I’ve been researching Bob Godfrey, an animator that worked on many shows including Roobarb and custard, as well as Henry’s Cat, among many others. Over the next month up until November, when this work will be exhibited in Canterbury, I’ll be giving some previews into that what I’ve been working on!!!😝😝😝

More segments of my Childhood Dream video I never got around to posting. Here are parts of the character customisation and getaway segments, which contribute to the video game experience from the video. 😝😝😝

Part of my Childhood Dream video which emulates the experience of a video game and what the infinite money cheat code would look like in real life, which I thought would be something like an atm robbery. 💸💸💸

The Video uses found footage and images, accompanied by digital graphics and a soundscape I made.

Arrows have become a bit of a recurring thing within my work, after looking at the Konami code so much - video game button inputs and waypoints in games. Here’s a sock arrow using off cuts from my previous sock monkeys!😛😝😛😝
